- Stir the soup, water, rice, paprika and black pepper in a 2-quart shallow baking dish. Top with the chicken. Season with additional paprika and black pepper. Cover the baking dish.
- Bake at 375°F. for 45 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the rice is tender.

- Recipe Note: For creamier rice, increase the water to 1 1/3 cups.
- Serving Suggestion: Serve with a steamed vegetable blend and crusty whole wheat rolls. For dessert serve fresh apple slices and store-bought caramel sauce for dipping.
- Ingredient Note: We develop our recipes using a 4-to 5-ounce skinless, boneless chicken breast half per serving. However, there are a range of sizes available in-store, from the butcher counter to the meat case and the freezer section. Use whichever you prefer- just follow the recipe as written above for the best result. If you're using larger chicken breasts they may require a little longer cooking time.

- First start cooking your rice.
- Add butter into your rice as it is cooking.
- Do not add salt.
- if you do only add a pinch of salt.
- Then cook your cream of mushroom soup, add little to no milk or water.
- You want your cream of mushroom soup to be like gravy and not soup.
- Use Cambell's soup as it's the best for this.
- When it's all done mix the rice and soup together.
- You can also mix in canned peas, but that is optional.
- Now you can dish it up and eat, but be careful dish is very hot and may burn your mouth.

Steps:
- In large skillet, melt 1 tbsp butter and brown the chicken pieces.
- Season to taste with garlic salt and paprika. Remove from pan and keep warm.
- Add remaining 1 tbsp butter to pan and saute onion, garlic and mushrooms until golden.
- Add soup, milk and pepper. Bring to a boil.
- Return chicken to the pan, reduce heat to low and simmer 5 minutes or til chicken is heated through and no longer pink inside.
- Serve over egg noodles.
