1 lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces
1 Tbsp. Cajun seasoning, divided
1 tub (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese Spread
1/4 cup plus 2 Tbsp. milk, divided
1/2 lb. smoked sausage
2 tsp. oil
1 cup each halved green and red pepper strips
1 onion, slivered
3 cups hot cooked penne pasta

Steps:

  • Toss chicken with 1 tsp. Cajun seasoning. Mix cream cheese spread and 2 Tbsp. milk until blended.
  • Cut sausage lengthwise in half, then crosswise into thin slices. Heat oil in large skillet on medium heat. Add chicken and vegetables; cook 6 to 7 min. or until chicken is done and vegetables are crisp-tender, stirring frequently. Add sausage; cook 3 min., stirring frequently.
  • Add cream cheese mixture, remaining milk and seasoning; cook and stir 2 to 3 min. or until heated through.
  • Stir in pasta.

Number Of Ingredients 19

1 pound fettuccine
1 pound rib eye steak, cut into bite-size pieces
1/2 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
3 teaspoons Cajun seasoning
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
2 tablespoons salted butter
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 green bell pepper, sliced
1 red bell pepper, sliced
1 small red onion, sliced
1 cup halved cherry tomatoes
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups chicken stock
1/2 cup white wine
1 cup heavy cream
3 to 4 dashes Worcestershire sauce
Cayenne or hot sauce, to taste
2 scallions, sliced
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Steps:

  • Cook the fettucine according to the package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  • Sprinkle the steak and shrimp with 1 teaspoon each of the Cajun seasoning, along with a pinch of salt and pepper. Toss to coat.
  • Heat the butter and olive oil in a large cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. When the butter has melted and the oil is hot, add the steak and shrimp and cook until the steak has browned on all sides and the shrimp are opaque and almost cooked through, about 3 minutes. Remove the steak and shrimp to a plate with a slotted spoon.
  • Add the bell peppers and onion to the same skillet, then sprinkle over the remaining teaspoon Cajun seasoning. Cook until the veggies begin to blacken, 1 to 2 minutes. Add the tomatoes and garlic, then stir gently for an additional 30 seconds. Add the chicken stock and wine, stirring to release all the flavors from the bottom of the skillet. Allow to cook for a couple minutes, then reduce the heat slightly. Add the cream, Worcestershire sauce and hot sauce, then continue to cook until the sauce has started to thicken. Taste and adjust the seasonings as needed.
  • Add the steak and shrimp back to the skillet along with any juices left on the plate, then stir. Add the fettuccine and toss to combine.
  • Garnish the skillet with the scallions and parsley, then serve and enjoy.

This easy, incredibly tasty one-pot Cajun sausage pasta is a flavorful dish that's sure to please the entire family any night of the week! Rich, delicious andouille sausage combines with a rich and creamy pasta to make a pasta dish that's perfect with every bite!

1/2 Tbsp olive oil
12 oz andouille sausage ((4 pre-cooked links))
1 tsp garlic ((minced))
4 cups chicken broth
1/4 cup heavy cream ((or heavy whipping cream, half & half, or whole milk))
2 Tbsp Cajun seasoning ((see recipe or use your favorite brand))
1/2 Tbsp Herbes de Provence ((see recipe or use your favorite brand))
8 oz linguine pasta ((uncooked))
8 oz cream cheese ((softened, at room temperature))
parsley ((optional garnish))

Steps:

  • Heat a stockpot to medium heat and sear the sausages with the olive oil (or cut the sausage links into slices and sear them sliced). Be sure to note a few additional minutes will be necessary if you are cooking raw andouille sausages.
  • When the sausage is browned (or fully cooked) transfer it to a plate and set aside. Saute the minced garlic in the pan juices for 30 seconds to a minute then add the chicken broth, heavy cream, Cajun seasoning, Herbes de Provence, and linguine.
  • Bring the pot to a boil then reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 12-15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cook until the pasta is al dente (tender but with a firm core). Add the softened cream cheese to the sauce and stir it in until melted and the sauce is smooth and thickened.
  • Use small amounts of water or broth as needed to thin the sauce (if needed) to your desired consistency. Return the sliced andouille sausage to your pasta and sauce, stir to coat thoroughly and warm the sausage through.
  • Remove from heat and serve immediately. Garnish with optional chopped parsley.

1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 2x1/2-in. strips
3 teaspoons Cajun seasoning
8 ounces uncooked penne pasta (about 2-1/3 cups)
2 tablespoons butter, divided
1 small sweet red pepper, diced
1 small green pepper, diced
1/2 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
4 green onions, chopped
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Pepper to taste
Chopped plum tomatoes
Minced fresh basil
Shredded Parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Toss chicken with Cajun seasoning; let stand 15 minutes. Cook pasta according to package directions; drain., In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon butter over medium-high heat; saute chicken until no longer pink, 5-6 minutes. Remove from pan., In same pan, heat remaining butter over medium-high heat; saute peppers, mushrooms and green onions until peppers are crisp-tender, 6-8 minutes. Stir in cream and seasonings; bring to a boil. Cook and stir until slightly thickened, 4-6 minutes. Stir in pasta and chicken; heat through. Top with tomatoes and basil. Sprinkle with cheese.

1 Tbsp. olive oil
1 lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into thin strips
1 Tbsp. Cajun seasoning, divided
1 cup each red and yellow pepper strips
1 pkg. (5 oz.) baby spinach leaves
1 pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, cubed
3/4 cup milk
2 green onions, sliced
1/2 cup KRAFT Shredded Parmesan Cheese

Steps:

  • Cook pasta in boiling water in large skillet 2 min. Drain pasta in colander; set aside.
  • Heat oil in same skillet over medium heat. Add chicken; sprinkle evenly with 1 tsp. Cajun seasoning. Cook 5 min. or until chicken is done, stirring frequently. Spoon chicken into bowl; cover to keep warm.
  • Add peppers to skillet; sprinkle with 1 tsp. of the remaining Cajun seasoning. Cook and stir 5 min. or until peppers are crisp-tender. Return chicken to skillet. Add spinach; cook and stir 2 to 3 min. or just until spinach is wilted.
  • Add cream cheese, milk and remaining Cajun seasoning to chicken mixture; cook and stir 2 to 3 min. or until cream cheese is completely melted and sauce is well blended. Add pasta; cook 3 to 5 min. or until heated through, stirring frequently. Remove skillet from heat.
  • Top chicken mixture with onions and Parmesan.

  • In a small bowl, whisk together all ingredients for the cajun seasoning (may sub store-bought seasoning if desired). Sprinkle 1-2 teaspoons of seasoning over chopped chicken pieces.
  • Spray a large pan or non stick skillet with cooking spray and cook chicken over medium heat 5-8 minutes, stirring throughout until cooked through. Place chicken in a bowl and set aside.
  • In the same pan, melt butter and sauté peppers and onions 2-3 minutes. Stir in flour until mixture clumps together or comes together in a "ball". Slowly whisk in milk. Stir in diced tomatoes.
  • When mixture is smooth and creamy, stir in 2 teaspoons of cajun seasoning (or more if you like it a little spicier). Add pasta and chicken and stir to coat. Continue to stir until chicken is heated through. Serve warm and garnish with fresh parsley.
