Steps:

  • In small mixing bowl mix Bisquick, water, and Refried beans together.
  • Spread in 8X8 baking dish.
  • Fry ground chuck until brown drain off any grease.
  • mix in taco sauce.
  • Pour over"crust" mix.
  • sprinkle with cheese.
  • cover with foil.
  • Bake@ 375* for 25-30 minutes.

1 lb hamburger
3 cups cooked pinto beans
3 cups shredded cheese
1/4 onion, chopped
2 tablespoons southwest seasoning
1 jalapeno, seeds removed and diced
12 burrito-size flour tortillas
salsa, for serving

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Brown hamburger, onion, jalapeño and seasoning.
  • Add beans and simmer for 15-20 minutes uncovered.
  • Pour off any juice.
  • To assemble:.
  • Place 2 hefty spoonfuls on one end of a tortilla.
  • Cover the mixture with cheese - as much as you want.
  • Roll up burrito style.
  • Place on a cookie sheet, seam down.
  • Make sure the burritos don't touch.
  • Place the burritos in the oven and bake for 20 minutes, or until the tortillas are light brown and the cheese is bubbly.
  • Serve with your favorite salsa.
  • These are good hot or cold!

1 (1 1/4 ounce) envelope taco seasoning
1 (8 ounce) package crescent rolls
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

shredded lettuce

sliced ripe avocado

Steps:

  • In a skillet, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain.
  • Add the beans, onion and taco seasoning.
  • Unroll crescent roll dough. Press onto the bottom and up the sides of a greased 13x9x2 inch baking dish; seal seams and preforations.
  • Spread beef mixture over crust; sprinkle with cheeses.

1 lb ground beef, browned
1 (1 1/4 ounce) package taco seasoning
1 (16 ounce) can refried beans
6 tortillas
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese or 1 1/2 cups monterey jack cheese

Steps:

  • Brown ground beef and add taco seasoning according to directions on packet. When taco meat is prepared, add can of refried beans and mix until heated through.
  • Spray baking spray on the bottom of a pie pan and line with 2 tortillas.
  • Pour 1/2 of the taco meat/bean mixture on the tortillas and then sprinkle on 1/2 cup of the cheese.
  • Place 2 more tortillas on top of the meat/beans, then repeat with the last of the the meat/beans and another 1/2 cup of cheese.
  • Place last 2 tortillas on the last layer and sprinkle with the remaining cheese.
  • Bake in oven, until heated through for about 15 minutes at 350 degrees.
  • Serve topped with tomatoes, shredded lettuce, green onions and a dollop of sour cream. Yummers!

8 (10 inch) flour tortillas
1 pound lean ground beef
1 package of taco seasoning or 2 Tablespoons homemade
1 can black beans, rinsed & drained - can substitute refried beans if desired.
1/2 cup diced onion
3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
shredded lettuce - any kind
1 large tomato (optional)
1 (19 ounce) can of mild enchilada sauce
1 recipe for Cilantro Lime Dressing, optional

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350*F
  • Cook ground beef and taco seasoning until beef is cooked through.
  • In the bottom of a 9x13 pan, pour 1/4 can of enchilada sauce and spread evenly..
  • In the middle of a tortilla, layer ground beef, black beans, onions, cheese, lettuce and tomato.
  • Fold up like a burrito and lay in the pan on top of the enchilada sauce.
  • Repeat with each burrito.
  • Pour remaining enchilada sauce over burritos making sure to cover all of the tortilla.

Steps:

  • Brown ground beef and onion; add taco seasoning mix and water; cook as directed on package.
