SIMPLE SUGAR SCRUB
This a simple to make and easy to use sugar scrub. You may have seen simmilar versions selling in chain stores that are expensive. However, this is simple to make and easy to make variations of. Its good for exfoliating any part of your body and seems to work well on my sensitive skin. It makes my skin soft without having to spend a lot which is important when you are a broke student! I hope you enjoy! This originally callled for one cup olive oil, but i have since changed it to 1/2 cup to reflect the reccomendations of others.

Steps:
- mix the sugar and olive oil in the plastic container. I do not recomend using a glass jar for this, since you will most likely have this in your bathroom.
- add any optional scents you like. I have discovered that adding peppermint oil or orange oil helps refresh you, while lavender is more soothing. My favorite oil to use is sandlewood.
- to use: place some on a wash cloth and rub in circles anywhere you need exfoliation. After letting it sit for awhile the sugar may settle to the bottom, so it may be necessary to shake this up a little before using.

Steps:
- Combine all ingredients using a spatula in a large bowl until well blended. Mix should have a paste-like texture. If it is too dry, add more oil a few drops at a time. Conversely, if it is too oily, add more dry ingredients until you reach the desired consistency. Keep stored in tightly sealed jars. May need to mix before use if ingredients settle.

BROWN SUGAR EXFOLIATING BATH SCRUBS
Good enough to eat! This sugar scrub recipe is great for buffing, polishing and exfoliating your dry skin. I love to use this right after I shave or before I apply any self-tanners. Exfoliating properly before applying self-tanners will extend the life of your "tan".

Steps:
- Mix all ingredients in small bowl.
- Spoon into jar that has a lid (a lid is necessary for proper storage).
- This recipe makes approx 6.5 ounces.
- The oils will settle on the top, like salad dressing! Be sure to stir before use.
- Apply directly to skin, rub gently.
- Works very well on legs, feet, knees, elbows.
- NOT recommended for face because of the oil content.
- Rinse with warm water to remove excess oil from skin.
- If your scrub lasts long enough, I use mine all the time, it may eventually become dry. Just add more oil.
- Caution: tub or shower may get slippery from the oils so be careful when standing up and/or exiting your shower/bath!

BROWN SUGAR BODY SCRUB
I love this yummy-smelling, safe and natural body scrub. This is best used in the bath so you can soak for a while after using. Fresh aloe vera, straight out of the garden, is best for this recipe.
