ASPARAGUS, BROCCOLI & CHEESE SOUP
I get ideas in my head and I just go with it. I had a bunch of broccoli and asparagus over. So I wanted to make soup.

Steps:
- 1. Sautee garlic in the butter, add asparagus and broccoli only if fresh, if frozen add later.
- 2. When nicely sauteed at this time add frozen broccoli and the chicken broth. Let simmer for 45min or until vegatables are soft.
- 3. In blender or hand blender start to blend, add the bag of cheese & Half and half. Blend til creamy, then add salt and pepper to taste.

Steps:
- remove meat from rib put in food processor grind/paulse til it becomes small pieces put in bowl sit aside
- now put broccoli in food processor paulse til very fine put in bowl set aside
- dow same for asparagus set aside now do onion have it chopped extra fine now put soft margarine into soup pan add onions cook and stir til they start to carmenize....add broccoli stir well into onions........ now add ribs stir well...add asparagus mix well
- once all is hot turn temp to med low cook and stir several min add spices and milk now cook til soup reduces to thickness u like 20 min or so add cheese whiz and sour cream cook til all melted
- now take little smokies and nuke in microwave til hot[bout 30 sec] laddle soup into bowls and drop a few smokies on top of each bowl[depends on how many servin and how many smokies leftover]noe ENJOY!!!!!
LEMON-ROASTED BROCCOLI AND ASPARAGUS
Simple lemon-flavored roasted broccoli and asparagus. An easy side dish that great served over rice with beef, chicken, pork, or fish.

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Place broccoli florets in a bowl. Add 1 1/2 teaspoons olive oil oil and 1/2 teaspoon of lemon pepper seasoning. Toss to coat and arrange in a single layer on a baking sheet. Place 1/2 of the lemon slices over the top of the broccoli.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.
- Meanwhile place asparagus in the bowl. Add remaining 1 1/2 teaspoons of olive oil and 1/2 teaspoon of lemon pepper. Toss to coat.
- Add asparagus to the baking sheet in a single layer and place remaining lemon slices over the top of the asparagus. Cook for 10 minutes. Remove baking sheet from the oven and toss broccoli and asparagus together. Serve immediately.
