1 kg zöldborsó
2 dl tej
2 evőkanál liszt
2 gerezd fokhagyma
1 kávéskanál cukor
fél csokor petrezselyem
só
bors
zsír

Steps:

Egy lábosban hevíts kevés zsiradékot, rakd bele a kifejtett borsót, és körülbelül öt percig párold. Közben kevergesd. Öntsd fel annyi vízzel, amennyi ellepi. Sózd, borsozd, cukrozd ízlés szerint. Kis lángon főzd puhára a borsót körülbelül 15 perc alatt. Közben készítsd el a habarást.
Egy tálban dolgozd csomómentesre a lisztet a tejjel, nyomd bele a fokhagymát. Öntsd a puha borsóhoz, közben kevergesd. Forrás után hagyd még öt percig a főni, hogy ne legyen lisztíze a főzeléknek. Végül add hozzá az apróra vágott petrezselymet is. Ha azzal is rottyan egyet, vedd le a tűzről, és melegen, feltéttel tálald.

1 onion, minced
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 cup water
1 lb green peas (fresh or frozen)
2 tablespoons flour
1/2 cup milk
salt and pepper
2 teaspoons Hungarian paprika

Steps:

Heat oil in a saucepan on medium heat. Add onion, saute until transparent.
Add peas and water. Cook for 5-10 minutes on medium.
Whisk together milk and flour. Add to the peas. Cook until it begins to thicken, about 5 minutes.
Add seasonings and cook 5 minutes more.
Serve with fried eggs or sausage.

Ingredients

1 cup shredded queso duro (Honduran queso)
6 flour tortillas
1 (15 ounce) can refried beans
2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine

Steps:

Butter the tortillas to your taste.
Spread beans evenly over each tortilla.
Sprinkle queso duro on top. (you'll have to grate it).
Microwave for 20 seconds.
Fold your tortillas in half and enjoy!
