HOMEMADE RANCH SEASONING MIX
Steps:
- In a medium bowl, whisk all ingredients to combine. Transfer the mixture to an airtight container and store in the refrigerator.Notes:1. When you purchase buttermilk powder at the store, it is found on the shelf, often in the baking section or near the powdered milk. 2. Storage: the brand of buttermilk powder I use (Saco) recommends refrigerating the powder once opened. In my experience, the powder stores for at least 2 months in the refrigerator, as long as you keep it in powder form. If you mix the powder with sour cream or other liquid products, use within 5 days.

Steps:
- Tip: If you do not have buttermilk, purchase dry buttermilk mix. For one cup of buttermilk: Add 4 tablespoons to one cup of milk and mix well. The buttermilk mix stores in the fridge and you will always have it on hand for recipes calling for buttermilk.
- In a small bowl, stir together the parsley, pepper, seasoned salt, garlic powder, onion powder and thyme. Use as a substitute for Ranch Dressing Mix. To make dressing, mix this recipe with 1 cup mayonnaise and 1 cup buttermilk (fresh or from mix). Use in place of one packet of Ranch dressing mix in recipes.
- For dip, mix this recipe with 1 3/4 cups sour cream and 1/4 cup of buttermilk.

DILL RANCH DRESSING
I just had the best ranch dressing in Ekalaka Mt so I decided I need to copy it! You can make it thicker or thinner as desired, but man did I love it. I don't know if it matches their recipe or not, but its my best guess!

Steps:
- Mix all and let set in fridge for at least an hour to blend flavors. If you want it a little thinner, use a little more milk, but watch how much you put inches A little bit goes a long way (at least for me!).
- cooking time is fridge time.
