Our family loves pork ribs! This recipe produces a tender meaty pork rib which we bake in the oven so it is great for the winter months when grilling isn't an option. *Note: Serving size depends on how many ribs there are in the packages.

1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
6 ounces hoisin sauce
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon olive oil
3 lbs pork ribs (country style)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Mix vinegar, brown sugar & hoisin sauce together thoroughly. (Set aside).
  • In skillet on medium high heat when oil begins to sizzle brown meaty ribs turning to lock in juices all four sides. (About a minute per side).
  • Remove from stove.
  • Place a sheet of baking parchment paper in the bottom of a roasting pan.
  • Place the ribs on top and coat 1/2 of the "vinegar, brown sugar & hoisin sauce" mixture evenly on each rib.
  • Bake ribs for 45 minutes.
  • Turn them over and baste with remaining mixture and bake for another 20 minutes or until pork is cooked thoroughly with no hint of pink.
  • Serve and enjoy!

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spread pork ribs on a baking sheet; season with salt and pepper.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until lightly browned, about 30 minutes.
  • Whisk hoisin sauce, sugar, soy sauce, white wine, tomato paste, garlic, chili-garlic sauce, and five-spice powder together in a bowl.
  • Grease a slow cooker insert with cooking spray. Transfer pork ribs to the pot. Cover evenly with hoisin sauce mixture.

3 pounds country-style pork ribs
1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 tablespoon dried minced onion, or more to taste

  • Heat the peanut oil in a large skillet over high heat. Brown the ribs evenly in the hot oil, about 5 minutes; remove from heat.

1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp kosher salt

1 c Italian parsley (just leaves)
8 cloves garlic
¾ c lime juice
1 ea lime (zested)
¾ c Cotija cheese (finely grated)
1 Tbsp honey
½ c avocado oil
2 ea jicama (peeled and julienned)
3 ea carrots (peeled and julienned)
½ head purple cabbage (shredded)
1 bu scallions (thinly sliced)
¾ c pear nectar
¼ c apple cider vinegar
½ c avocado oil

Steps:

  • Mix paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, kosher salt and pepper in a bowl.
  • Rub spices all over Boneless Country Style Ribs, then cover and refrigerate for 2 hours.
  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Preheat sauté pan or grill pan, and add oil. Once oil is hot, sear ribs on both sides for 7 minutes per side.

Melt-in-your-mouth tender, bathed in a sweet and tangy homemade barbecue sauce, these country style pork ribs are truly something special!

1 cup apple cider vinegar
1/2 cup ketchup
2 TB Worcestershire sauce
2 TB brown sugar
1 tsp salt
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp dry mustard
1/8 tsp ground black pepper
1 clove garlic (chopped)
2-3 lbs country style pork ribs

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 500°F.
  • Combine all the ingredients except the pork ribs in a saucepan. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Place ribs in bottom of a roasting pan or 9X13 baking pan.
  • Pour sauce over the meat.
  • Cover the pan with foil and bake at 500 degrees for 10 minutes.
  • Reduce heat to 325 degrees and bake for an additional 1 to 1 ½ hours. Check them at the 45-minute mark and turn them in the sauce.
  • When the ribs are tender, remove the foil and cook for 15 minutes without the foil, just enough to slightly reduce and thicken the sauce.
  • Ribs are done when the meat is tender and pulls apart easily.
  • Remove the BBQ ribs from the sauce to serve. The sauce can be put in a small bowl to serve on the side.

2 racks spare ribs (8 to 10 pounds)
3 tablespoons soy sauce
3 tablespoons hoisin sauce
3 tablespoons ketchup
2 tablespoons Chinese rice wine or dry sherry
1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 garlic cloves (finely chopped)
2 tablespoons honey
1/4 cup water

Steps:

  • Gather the ingredients.
  • Cut the spareribs apart into individual ribs, and place them in a shallow glass baking dish.
  • In a medium-sized bowl, combine the soy sauce , hoisin sauce , ketchup, rice wine or sherry, brown sugar, and chopped garlic. Pour the mixture over the spareribs.
  • Cover and marinate overnight in the refrigerator, turning occasionally to make sure the ribs are thoroughly coated.
  • Preheat the oven to 350 F/177 C. Fill a shallow roasting pan with 1/2-inch of water and place in the bottom of the oven. Place the pork on a rack above the water. Meanwhile, in a small pot, bring water to a boil and dissolve the honey. Brush the spareribs several times with the honey and water mixture during roasting.
  • Roast the pork for 30 minutes, or until the ribs just begin shrinking and the internal temperature reaches 160 F/71 C. Remove, let the ribs rest for 15 minutes, and serve.

1 tablespoon fresh ginger, peeled, grated

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  • Line a large jelly-roll pan with foil.
  • In a large bowl stir garlic, hoisin sauce, brown sugar, soy sauce, ginger and chili garlic paste until combined.
  • My stores sell country ribs cut individually but if necessary, cut pork into 1 inch wide "ribs". Add ribs to sauce in bowl and coat with sauce.
  • Arrange ribs in single layer in prepared pan, spooning any remaining sauce over ribs.
  • Bake 18-20 minutes or until pork reaches an internal temperature of 145 degrees F. Cooking times will vary depending on the size of the ribs.
