- Preparation: Cut the cherries, coat with some all-purpose flour, and keep aside. Microwave the buttermilk, add yeast and give it a stirr. Cover it and keep it aside for 10 minutes. Set the oven at 325 degrees and leave it for preheating for 20 minutes.
- Blend The Liquid Ingredients: Take a blender add two large eggs into it, add half a cup of vegetable oil, one teaspoon vanilla extract, one teaspoon cherry extract, and a half of sugar. Blend it for a few seconds and add the rest half of the sugar. Blend until all liquid ingredients is mixed properly and turned into a smooth liquid. If you don't have a blender machine you can use a hand whisk and blend everything with speed until it turns into a smooth liquid.
- Add Dry Ingredients: Take a large mixing bowl, add flour, baking powder, and give it a good mix. Add this mixture to the liquid gradually. This is so easy to make as you just put everything, except the cherries, in a bowl and mix it, adding the cherries last. It is so pretty and so good. It is nice with a cup of tea or for giving in a pretty little basket along with some tea. You could put a pretty tea cup in the basket, too.
