1/2 cup spicy Bloody Mary mix
2 tsp. LEA & PERRINS Worcestershire Sauce
2 tsp. KRAFT Horseradish Sauce
1 tsp. hot pepper sauce
1/2 tsp. lemon pepper seasoning
12 uncooked large shrimp (1/2 lb.), peeled with tails left on, deveined
2 tsp. oil
1 stalk celery
12 grape tomatoes
12 HEINZ Spicy Garlic Pickle Chips

Steps:

  • Mix first 5 ingredients until blended. Add to shrimp in large bowl; toss until evenly coated.
  • Refrigerate 30 min. to marinate.
  • Drain shrimp; discard marinade. Heat oil in large nonstick skillet on medium heat. Add shrimp; cook and stir 3 to 4 min. or until shrimp turn pink. Cool completely. Refrigerate 30 min.
  • Cut celery lengthwise in half, then cut each half crosswise into 6 pieces. Thread celery onto 12 small skewers along with remaining ingredients.

6 cups water
1 lemon, halved
1 cup dry white wine
1 bay leaf
1/2 teaspoon peppercorns
Salt
1 bottle of your favorite vodka
1 bottle of a good store bought Bloody Mary mix
1 teaspoon cracked pepper
Hot sauce, to taste
Worcestershire sauce
Olive juice, to taste
Bamboo skewers, soaked in water for 30 to 60 minutes

Steps:

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • Place 6 cups of water in a medium saucepan. Add lemon halves, white wine, bay leaf, peppercorns and salt, to taste. Bring to a boil and add the shrimp. Cook for 1 minute or until the shrimp turn pink. Immediately plunge shrimp into a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process. Strain the shrimp and place into a bowl in the refrigerator until ready to use. In a large pitcher, mix 1-ounce vodka for every 6 ounces Bloody Mary mix. Season with cracked pepper, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, olive juice and shake. Serve in decorative glasses with skewered shrimp as garnish.

1 (8 ounce) can sliced water chestnuts, drained
3 scallions, cut into 1-inch pieces, or more to taste
1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced
3 cloves garlic, slivered
32 colossal shrimp, shelled and deveined with tail on

Steps:

  • Combine tomato juice and 2 tablespoons Bloody Mary spice mix in a large jar with a lid and shake vigorously for 15 seconds. Set aside.
  • Heat oil lin a large pan over medium heat. Add water chestnuts, scallions, jalapeno pepper, garlic, and about 2/3 the Bloody Mary-tomato juice mixture. Cook 2 minutes.
  • Place shrimp in a bowl and sprinkle with remaining Bloody Mary spice mix. Add them to the pan with the tomato juice mixture. Cook and stir until shrimp are opaque and curl slightly, 2 to 3 minutes.

32 peeled deveined cooked medium shrimp
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice, divided
Pickled vegetables (such as carrots, celery, green beans, and olives)
1 28-ounce can San Marzano tomatoes in juice
2 green onions, chopped
1/2 cup (or more) low-salt chicken broth
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons vodka
1 tablespoon prepared horseradish
1/2 teaspoon celery salt

Steps:

  • Toss shrimp with 1 tablespoon lemon juice in large bowl. Thread 1 shrimp and 1 vegetable on toothpick. Repeat with remaining shrimp and vegetables. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
  • Place tomatoes with juice, green onions, 1/2 cup broth, Worcestershire sauce, vodka, horseradish, celery salt, and remaining 1 tablespoon lemon juice in blender. Cover; blend until smooth. If mixture is too thick, thin with additional broth by tablespoonfuls. Season Bloody Mary mixture to taste with salt and pepper. Transfer to pitcher. DO AHEAD: Skewers and soup can be made 1 day ahead. Cover and chill.
  • Pour Bloody Mary mixture into shot glasses or small glasses. Garnish each with shrimp-vegetable skewer. Serve remaining Bloody Mary mixture and shrimp-vegetable skewers alongside.

1 cup seafood cocktail sauce
1/4 cup finely chopped green olives

Steps:

  • Arrange shrimp in single layer in rectangular glass or plastic dish.
  • Heat tomato juice, vodka if using and pepper sauce to boiling in 1 quart saucepan over medium high heat.
  • Stir in sugar; reduce heat.
  • Simmer uncovered 5 minutes, stirring occasionally,.
  • Stir in celery salt and parsley; pour over shrimp.
  • Cover and refrigerate 2 to 3 hours.
  • (no longer than 3 hours or the shrimp will become tough.) Mix cocktail sauce and olives; pour into small serving bowl.
  • Remove shrimp from marinade with slotted spoon; arrange on serving platter.
  • Serve shrimp with sauce and toothpicks.
  • A pretty way to serve: Place shrimp in an oversized martini glass, 12 to 14 inches in diameter.
  • Pour cocktail sauce mixture over shrimp, and garnish like a bloody Mary with a skewer of colossal olives, small lime wedges and a celery stick.

For shrimp
1 pound medium shrimp in shell, peeled and deveined
1 1/2 cups thinly sliced celery (3 to 4 ribs)
1 cup thinly sliced scallions (about 6)
For sauce
1/2 cup ketchup
1/4 cup vodka (preferably Absolut Peppar)
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons bottled horseradish (not drained), or to taste
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon Tabasco
Equipment: Chinese soupspoons
Garnish: diced avocado (optional)

Steps:

  • Prepare shrimp:
  • Bring a large saucepan of salted water (2 tablespoons salt for 2 quarts water) to a boil. Add shrimp, then remove from heat and let stand in water until cooked through, about 5 minutes. Drain in a colander and cool to room temperature, about 30 minutes. Cut shrimp into thirds and transfer to a large bowl with celery and scallions.
  • Make sauce:
  • Whisk together all sauce ingredients, 1/4 teaspoon pepper, and 3/4 teaspoon salt, or to taste.
  • Just before serving, stir sauce into shrimp mixture. Spoon 2 shrimp pieces with vegetables and sauce into each soupspoon and arrange spoons on a platter.

22 ounces spicy V8 vegetable juice
1 teaspoon horseradish (optional)
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon Tabasco sauce (I use Tapatio to taste)
1 tablespoon Pickapeppa Sauce
1/2 teaspoon celery seed
fresh ground pepper
celery salt (optional)
3 ounces peppar vodka
ice cube
2 cups white wine
1 lemon, juice of
1 pinch red pepper flakes (optional)
4 -6 jumbo shrimp, peeled and de-veined (tail left on)
celery rib (to garnish)
lemon wedge (to garnish)

Steps:

  • Shake V8, horseradish, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, Tapatio/Tabasco, celery seed, salt, pepper and vodka in a large glass jar with a tight-fitting lid. Mix well and chill.
  • Shrimp: in a small saucepan, heat wine, lemon juice and red pepper flakes.
  • Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer.
  • Poach shrimp just until pink and curled, about 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Place on ice and refrigerate.
  • When completely chilled, season lightly with salt and serve with bloody mary.
  • Fill two tall glasses with ice and divide the Bloody Mary between the glasses. Garnish each drink with 2 shrimp on short skewers. Add Celery and a thick Lemon Wedge to garnish.
