10 ounces root beer
2 scoops vanilla ice cream
1 tablespoon chocolate syrup
1 1/2 ounces whipped cream
maraschino cherry

Steps:

Pour root beer over ice cream and chocolate syrup in a large glass. Garnish with whipped cream and maraschino cherry.

I was introduced to these as a very young child and have always loved them. These days I seldom think of making them, but when I do--wow, what a treat! Ingredients

1 very tall glass
8 to 10 oz coca cola
3 or 4 scoop(s) vanilla ice cream

Steps:

1. In a tall glass place three or four scoops ice cream, one at a time, alternating with pouring Coke over each scoop. Place a scoop of ice cream, pour a little Coke over it, and repeat until glass is full.
2. Be sure the Coke has been refrigerated and is very cold. This will make little ice crystals on the ice cream and make it all the more yummy! Enjoy!
