- Whisk until smooth.
- Bring mixture to a boil, reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 30 minutes or until mixture thickens.
- Remove from heat and serve with your favorite meat or seafood.
CAROLINA MUSTARD BARBECUE SAUCE
A quick and easy honey mustard sauce by Steven Raichlen. After waiting paitiently for 14 hours for our pulled pork to be ready to eat, this is the only sauce for us that deserves to go onto the sandwiches! I find that this amount here is good for about 5-6 pulled pork sandwiches.

Steps:
- Combine the mustard, honey, sugar and vinegar in a saucepan and whisk to mix.
- Bring to a simmer over low heat and cook gently, uncovered, until richly flaovred, about 5 minutes, whisking from time to time.
- Remove from heat and season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Transfer to a serving bowl and serve warm or at room temperature. The sauce will keep, tightly covered in the refrigerator, for several weeks.

- Stir hot water and chicken bouillon granules together in a 2-quart stock pot to dissolve the granules completely; add tomato sauce, vinegar, barbeque sauce, honey, ketchup, brown sugar, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, and mustard.
- Stir mixture and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer until the sauce is thickened, about 1 hour.

TONY ROMA'S CAROLINA HONEY BBQ SAUCE
This is a wonderful honey bbq sauce that we brush on pork spare ribs the last 15 minutes of cooking. It is a copycat recipe for the Tony Roma's restaurant sauce. Makes enough for 4 pounds of ribs. I was given this recipe by a friend was contacted by topsecretrecipes.com that it is their recipe.

- When the mixture comes to a boil, reduce the heat and simmer uncovered.
- In 30-45 minutes when the mixture thickens, remove from heat.
- If it becomes to thick you can thin it with more vinegar.
