Bisquick Lemon Pound Cake Food

BISQUICK™ LEMON POUND CAKE

Steps:

• Heat oven to 325°F. Spray bottom only of 9x5-inch loaf pan with baking spray with flour. In large bowl, beat all cake ingredients except lemon peel with electric mixer on low speed 30 seconds, scraping bowl constantly. Beat on medium speed 2 minutes, scraping bowl occasionally. Stir in lemon peel. Pour into pan.
• Bake 45 to 50 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes. Loosen sides of cake from pan with metal spatula. Remove cake from pan to cooling rack. Cool completely, about 1 hour.
• In small bowl, mix powdered sugar and lemon juice with spoon until smooth. Drizzle glaze over cake.

BISQUICK LEMON SQUARES

Steps:

• Preheat oven 350 degrees fahrenheith.
• Mix the 1 cup Bisquick and 2 tablespoons powdered sugar, cut in the margarine.
• Press in an ungreased 8-inch square pan, and bake for 10 minutes until light brown.
• Mix together the 3/4 cup sugar, coconut, 1 tablespoon bisquick, eggs, 2 tablespoons lemon juice, lemon rind.
• Pour mixture over slightly cooled baked bisquick layer.
• Return to oven and bake another 25 minutes until set.
• Loosen edges from pan while warm. Cool completely.
• In a small mixing bowl, beat together 1/2 cup powdered sugar and 1 tablespoon lemon juice until smooth.
• Spread over baked mixture and allow to harden.
• Cut into 1 1/2 inch squares.

EXTREME LEMON BUNDT CAKE

Steps:

• Preheat oven as directed.
• Mix all ingredients and bake as directed.
• I use a Bundt pan or you may also use 2 large loaf pans.
• These cakes can be frozen for 30 days and still taste like you just baked them!

BISQUICK SOUR CREAM POUND CAKE

Steps:

• 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease & flour 10 inch angel food- tube cake pan or use BAKERS JOY AS I did. It has the flour in the spray.
• 2. Dump all ingredients into a large bowl and beat on low for about half minute. Then increase speed to medium and beat for about 4 minutes, and scrape sides of bowl as needed. Pour batter into prepared pan.
• 3. Bake the required amount of time 1 hour, or until toothpick inserted into the center of cake comes out clean. Remove from oven and let cool for about 10 minutes, then invert onto cooling rack.
• 4. When cake has cooled, transfer to cake platter.
• 5. Frost with desired frosting and additional candies to garnish if desired. You may also opt to dust with powdered sugar in lieu of frosting if desired.
• 6. Cut and serve this tasty and easy recipe to guests.

LEMON POUND CAKE

Steps:

• Heat oven to 325°F. Generously spray bottom only of 9x5-inch loaf pan with baking spray with flour.
• In medium bowl, beat cake mix, cream cheese, water, grated lemon peel and eggs with electric mixer on low speed 1 minute, scraping bowl frequently, then on medium speed 2 minutes, scraping bowl occasionally. Pour into pan.
• Bake 50 to 60 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Remove from pan to cooling rack or heatproof serving plate. Cool completely, about 1 hour.
• In small microwavable bowl, microwave frosting uncovered on High 10 to 15 seconds or until frosting is thin enough to drizzle; stir. Spoon frosting evenly over cake, allowing frosting to drip down sides.
