1 cup sugar
Zest and juice of 1 orange
1 vanilla bean
4 pints strawberries, hulled and halved
2 pints blueberries
2 cups green grapes, halved
2 cups red grapes, halved
Fresh mint leaves

Steps:

  • Place the sugar, 1 cup water, orange zest, juice and vanilla bean in a small pan and stir to dissolve the sugar. Then bring to a boil. Turn the heat to low and simmer for about 15 minutes to thicken. Set aside to cool.
  • Prepare all the fruit in a large bowl, pour the cooled syrup over the top and toss together. Decorate with mint leaves and chill until ready to serve.

Reddi-wip Original Whipped Light Cream

Steps:

  • Preheat oven and prepare the baking mix according to package directions for rolled biscuits, adding 2 teaspoons vanilla with the measure of water listed in the package directions. Roll out or pat dough into 6-inch circle on lightly floured surface; cut into 6 wedges. Place, 2 inches apart, on ungreased baking sheet. Brush tops lightly with additional water; sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
  • Bake according to package directions.
  • Mix 1/2 cup water and granulated sugar in small saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to low; simmer 5 minutes, or until slightly thickened, to a syrup-like consistency. Remove from heat; cool slightly. Stir in remaining 2 teaspoons vanilla. Pour over the fruit in large bowl; toss gently to coat.
  • Split biscuits horizontally in half. Place bottom halves of biscuits on 6 dessert plates; cover evenly with half of the fruit mixture. Top each with a serving of Reddi-wip and top half of biscuit. Spoon remaining fruit mixture evenly over biscuits; top with additional serving of Reddi-wip.

1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
TOPPING:
1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Steps:

  • Separate biscuits into 10 pieces; place in an ungreased 9-in. round baking dish. Press onto the bottom and 1 in. up the sides, pinching edges together to seal. Bake at 350° for 5-7 minutes or until slightly puffed. , Meanwhile, in a small bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, egg and flour until smooth; pour over crust. 1/3 cup brown sugar
1 1/4 cups oats
1 1/2 teaspoons minced gingerroot (from the jar) or 1 teaspoon ground ginger
1/8 teaspoon salt

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 180c. Line an 8-inch, shallow, round cake tin with baking paper.
  • Place butter, syrup, and sugar in a pan over low heat. Cook, stirring, until melted and combined.
  • Remove from heat and add oats and salt. Mix together.
  • Place mix into pan, press firmly and smooth the surface. Bake until golden brown for approximately 20-25 minutes.
  • Leave in the pan until cool enough to handle, then turn out and cut into wedges while still hot. The wedges become quite hard when cooled.
