Betty Crockers Lemon Cream Cheese Bundt Cake Food

LEMON CREAM CHEESE BUNDT CAKE WITH LEMON GLAZE

Steps:

• Heat oven to 325°F. Generously spray 10- or 12-cup fluted tube cake pan.
• In large bowl, beat Cake ingredients with electric mixer on low speed 1 minute, scraping bowl constantly. Increase speed to medium; beat 2 minutes. Pour into pan.
• Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 15 minutes; turn upside down onto cooling rack or heatproof serving plate, and remove pan. Cool completely, about 1 hour.
• Place cake on serving plate. In medium bowl, beat powdered sugar and lemon juice, a little at a time, using whisk until thick glaze forms. (You may not need all the juice.) Pour evenly over cake. Store cake loosely covered.

LEMON VELVET CREAM CAKE

Steps:

• Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pans). Grease bottoms only of two 8- or 9-inch round cake pans with shortening (do not use cooking spray).
• Make, bake and cool cake as directed on box for 8- or 9-inch rounds. Refrigerate layers 45 minutes for easier handling.
• Meanwhile, in large bowl, beat cream cheese, milk and 1 tablespoon lemon peel with electric mixer on low speed until smooth. Beat in whipping cream and powdered sugar. Beat on high speed, scraping bowl occasionally, until stiff peaks form.
• Slice each cake layer in half horizontally to make a total of 4 layers. (To cut, mark side of cake with toothpicks and cut with long, thin knife.) Fill each layer with 1/2 cup whipped cream mixture. Frost side and top of cake with remaining whipped cream mixture. Garnish with additional lemon twist. Store covered in refrigerator.

EXTREME LEMON BUNDT CAKE

Steps:

• Preheat oven as directed.
• Mix all ingredients and bake as directed.
• I use a Bundt pan or you may also use 2 large loaf pans.
• These cakes can be frozen for 30 days and still taste like you just baked them!

BANANA-CINNAMON BUNDT CAKE

Steps:

• Heat oven to 350°F Grease 12-cup bundt cake pan with shortening; lightly flour.
• Beat cake mix, water, bananas, butter, cinnamon and eggs in large bowl with electric mixer on low speed for 30 seconds. Increase speed to medium for 2 minutes, scraping the bowl occasionally. Stir in walnuts.
• Pour into bundt pan and bake for 43-53 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pan for 10 minutes. Turn pan upside-down onto wire rack or heatproof serving plate and remove pan.
• Cool completely. Once cool drizzle Cinnamon Glaze over cake.
• Cinnamon Glaze: Stir all ingredients together until thin enough to drizzle. Sprinkle top with cinnamon for presentation.

EASY LEMON BUNDT CAKE RECIPE

Steps:

• Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a 10 cup bundt pan by making sure it is well greased and floured or coated well with cake release. (See the note below on how to quickly make your own cake release.)
• Put the cake mix, instant pudding mix, sour cream, olive oil, eggs and water into a large mixing bowl.
• Beat until mixed together well. About 30-45 seconds.
• Spoon the batter in the prepared bundt pan and spread it out evenly.
• Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes. A skewer should come out clean and the top should be quite browned.
• Cool on a wire rack for 20 minutes before inverting.
• Cool the cake completely before icing.
