Steps:
- Add the pomegranate juice to a nonreactive saucepan. Bring the juice to a boil over high heat. Add the sugar and stir with a wooden spoon until dissolved, about 1 minute. Remove from heat and let cool. Pour into a lidded bottle or other sealable container and store in the refrigerator. The syrup will keep, refrigerated, for several weeks.

- Put the pomegranate juice and sugar in a pan set over a low heat. Stir until the sugar has dissolved.
- Remove from the heat. Leave to cool. Add the orange blossom water, then pour into a sterilised bottle. Will keep for two weeks.

- If using whole pomegranates, remove the seeds. Place the pomegranate seeds in a cocktail shaker (or tall glass) and mash with a muddler or wooden spoon until all the juices have been released. Then pour it through a fine mesh strainer into a measuring cup.
- Add the pomegranate juice and sugar to a small saucepan heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is dissolved, about 1 to 2 minutes. Remove from the heat.
- Cool and stir in the lemon juice. Pour into a sealed container and refrigerate up to three weeks. For a longer storage time, add 1 tablespoon vodka or brandy to fortify the syrup.
