1/2 cup Dijon mustard
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup rice vinegar
2 tablespoon ginger (fresh and grated)
1/2 cup green onions (minced)
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon sesame oil

Steps:

  • Whisk the ketchup, mustard, brown sugar, vinegar, ginger, green onions , cayenne, soy sauce, and sesame oil in a medium saucepan. Bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally, and remove the pan from the heat.
  • Let the sauce cool to room temperature, then use toward the end of barbecuing, applying the sauce with a basting brush and serving extra sauce on the side.

Yes, almost the same as my other recipe but 100% better! A little change went a long way. It is the best, I promise! I have NEVER in my life had better shrimp. My whole family was in heaven. OK, enough tooting my own horn!

25 -30 large shrimp, raw and peeled (or jumbo)
3 tablespoons chopped garlic, fresh (see tip) or 3 tablespoons from a jars (see tip)
1 cup fresh parsley, chopped
2 teaspoons paprika
fresh ground sea salt, to taste (see tip)
fresh ground pepper, to taste
1/2 cup olive oil
2 tablespoons butter

Steps:

  • In a large Ziplock freezer bag, mix everything except the butter and swish it around good to coat all of the shrimp. Or, mix everything in a large bowl and cover TIGHTLY with Saran wrap.
  • Refrigerate for 1 hour.
  • Preheat large heavy bottom pan with the butter in it on medium. Toss shrimp around for about 10 minutes until pink and lightly browned.
  • TIPS: Do not substitute with garlic powder OR dried parsley! Sea salt is stronger than table salt so use less than normal. Table salt can be substituted.
  • Serve with steak or pasta with a white sauce.
  • I KNOW THIS IS VERY SIMILAR TO MY OTHER SHRIMP RECIPE, BUT I MADE IT THIS WAY TONIGHT AND IT WAS SO UNBELIEVABLE THAT I HAD TO POST IT! EVEN BETTER THAN MY OTHER SHRIMP RECIPE!

½ cup Worcestershire sauce
½ cup packed brown sugar
½ cup molasses

2 ½ teaspoons balsamic vinegar
1 ½ tablespoons steak sauce
1 tablespoon yellow mustard
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 teaspoon dried savory
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce

Steps:

  • In a large saucepan, mix together the cola, tomato sauce, tomato paste, butter, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, molasses, cider and balsamic vinegars, steak sauce, and mustard. Season with chili powder, savory, onion powder, garlic salt, and hot pepper sauce, and stir to blend. Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture is thick enough to coat the back of a metal spoon.

2 cups brewed black coffee
2 cups Worcestershire sauce
3 cups catsup
1 1/2 cups apple cider vinegar
1/2 cup Dijon mustard
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup sweet soy sauce
1 large onion, chopped
1 anaheim chili, chopped
8 garlic cloves, minced
5 tablespoons chili powder
1 tablespoon crushed cumin
1 lemon, juice of

Steps:

  • In a larger pot, combine all ingredients.
  • Bring to a slow boil, lower heat and simmer for at least 2 hours.
  • Then strain before using.
  • Makes 8 cups.

This homemade BBQ sauce is exactly what the title of the post says it is. It is, hands down, the best homemade BBQ sauce you'll ever have. It's sweet, tangy and has a little tiny kick.

1 1/4 C ketchup*
1 C brown sugar
1/4 C molasses
1/4 C apple cider vinegar
1/4 C plus 2 Tbsp water
1 Tbsp worcestershire sauce
2 1/2 tsp ground mustard
2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp smoked paprika
1 1/2 tsp fine sea salt
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp black pepper
2 Tbsp cornstarch

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, mix together mustard, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, cayenne pepper and black pepper. Press out any clumps.
  • In a medium pot, whisk together ketchup, brown sugar, molasses, worcestershire, vinegar, and 1/4 C water over medium heat.
  • Whisk in spices and bring to a low boil. Taste for seasoning and add more vinegar or sugar to taste if necessary. Continue to simmer for about 5 minutes.
  • In a separate bowl, combine cornstarch and 2 Tbsp water. Mix until cornstarch dissolves and whisk into the bbq sauce until thick. Be sure to whisk as you're pouring the cornstarch mixture in to avoid any clumping.
  • Taste again for seasoning, add if necessary. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

¼ cup brown sugar
¼ cup bacon bits
¼ cup crushed pineapple, drained
1 dash Worcestershire sauce
1 pound ground beef
¼ cup dry bread crumbs
¼ cup crushed saltine crackers
1 egg, beaten
½ clove garlic, minced
¼ onion, minced
2 dashes Worcestershire sauce
¾ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

Steps:

  • Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Stir ketchup, brown sugar, bacon bits, pineapple, and 1 dash Worcestershire sauce together in a small bowl; reserve.
  • Combine the ground beef, bread crumbs, saltines, egg, garlic, onion, 2 dashes of Worcestershire sauce, and salt and pepper in a large bowl; mix well. Pat meat mixture into a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
  • Bake meatloaf in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Remove from oven; pour reserved pineapple mixture over loaf. Return to the oven; bake until no longer pink in the center, about an additional 20 minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 160 degrees F (70 degrees C).
