CANNED BEAN BEAN DIP

Canned Bean Bean Dip image

Provided by dandjmathis

Time 29m

Yield 8

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 can black beans
1 can pinto beans (with onions if you can find them)
1 small can green chiles
1/2 jar salsa
1 cup shredded cheese (choose your favorite)
garlic salt to taste
chile powder to taste

Steps:

  • Rinse the beans; put every thing except cheese in a bowl. You can use a hand blender but an old fashioned potato masher works just as well. After it's mashed well, heat in the microwave for 3 to 4 minutes. Then stir in your cheese, perhaps topping with enough to make it look pretty. Serve with chips and enjoy!

PINTO BEAN DIP

Pinto Bean Dip image

Just like the bean dip you buy in the store but a lot less expensive. The heat can be easily controlled.
