AMAZING BANANA SORBET

Steps:

• In a small saucepan, stir together sugar and water. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat and allow to cool.
• When the sugar syrup is cool, stir in bananas. Pour into a freezer - safe baking dish. Freeze for 3 to 4 hours, until set at the edges.
• Remove from the freezer and transfer to a mixing bowl. Use an electric mixer to beat until smooth. Return to the freezer until gently set, at least 2 hours.

MOTHER'S BANANA SHERBET

Steps:

• In a small saucepan, bring water and sugar to a boil. Cook and stir until sugar is dissolved; set aside to cool., Place the evaporated milk, orange juice, lemon juice and banana in a blender. Add the sugar syrup; cover and process until smooth. , Pour into cylinder of ice cream freezer; freeze according to manufacturer's directions. Transfer to a freezer container, allowing headspace for expansion. Freeze for 4 hours or until firm before serving.,

FAT-FREE BANANA SHERBET WITH WALNUTS AND CHOCOLATE

Steps:

• Combine bananas, water, sugar, lemon juice, and vanilla extract in a large saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a simmer, stirring until evenly blended. Reduce heat to low; cook, stirring occasionally, until thickened, about 30 minutes. Let cool, about 30 minutes.
• Puree banana mixture with an immersion blender until smooth. Mix in half-and-half.
• Pour mixture into an ice cream maker and freeze according to manufacturer's instructions, adding walnuts and chocolate chunks towards the end. Transfer to an airtight container and freeze until firm, about 4 hours.

STRAWBERRY-BANANA SHERBET

Steps:

• Place strawberries in a large bowl. Using a potato masher, mash strawberries, and set aside.
• Place bananas and sugar in a medium bowl. Using the potato masher, mash until smooth.
• Add banana mixture to strawberries, and mix well. Stir in orange juice, lemon juice, and milk. Divide the mixture among four metal ice-cube trays, about 2 cups per tray. The sherbet can also be poured into a 9-by-13-inch glass baking dish and placed in freezer. Stir every 30 minutes until frozen, about 4 hours.

HEALTHY AND TASTY STRAWBERRY SHERBET

Steps:

• Place strawberries in a food processor and blend until smooth, about 30 seconds. Blend in sugar and lemon juice, about 10 seconds more.
• Freeze sherbet until solid, about 1 hour.
