3 cups uncooked spiral pasta
1 pound ground beef
1/2 pound bulk pork sausage
1 medium onion, chopped
1 medium green pepper, chopped
1 jar (24 ounces) meatless pasta sauce
1 can (15 ounces) pizza sauce
1 teaspoon brown sugar
2 cups shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
1 package (3-1/2 ounces) sliced pepperoni
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°. Cook pasta according to package directions for al dente; drain. Meanwhile, in a Dutch oven, cook and crumble beef and sausage with onion and pepper over medium-high heat until meat is no longer pink and vegetables are tender, 6-8 minutes; drain., Stir in pasta sauce, pizza sauce and brown sugar. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in pasta. Transfer to a greased 13x9-in. baking dish. Top with mozzarella cheese and pepperoni. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese., Bake, uncovered, until lightly browned and cheese is melted, 20-25 minutes.

1 pound ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
salt and pepper to taste
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
5 cups peeled and thinly sliced potatoes
1 (3 ounce) package chopped pepperoni
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed tomato soup
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed Cheddar cheese soup
½ cup milk
½ teaspoon dried oregano
¼ teaspoon Italian seasoning
½ teaspoon brown sugar
8 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Cook the ground beef and onion in a large skillet over medium heat until evenly browned. Drain off grease. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  • Spread the sliced potatoes in a layer on the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish. Spread the ground beef and onion over the potatoes. Place slices of pepperoni over the ground beef. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the tomato soup, Cheddar cheese soup, and milk. Season with oregano, Italian seasoning, and brown sugar. Mix well, and cook until heated through. Pour over the contents of the baking dish.
  • Cover the dish with aluminum foil, and bake for 30 minutes in the preheated oven. Remove the aluminum foil, sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the top, and bake for an additional 15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

1 tablespoon fresh minced garlic

1 lb pepperoni, divided
1 (4 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
4 cups pasta sauce
3 -4 cups rigatoni pasta (cooked to firm-tender and drained, do not overcook the pasta)
4 cups mozzarella cheese, divided

Steps:

  • Grease a 13x9-inch baking dish.
  • Cook the gound beef in a medium skillet with the onions, green peppers, garlic, salt pepper until meat is browned and veggies are tender; drain fat, and mix in the Parmesan cheese.
  • Stir in the 1/2-pound pepperoni (chop this pepperoni to add to the mixture, leave the remaining half pound pepperoni sliced), mushrooms, pasta sauce; stir well until combined; simmer for 20-25 minutes on top of stove.
  • Set oven to 350 degrees.
  • Place the cooked rigatoni pasta on the bottom of the greased baking dish.
  • Sprinkle with 2 cups mozzarella cheese over the pasta.
  • Layer with pepperoni slices evenly over the cheese.
  • Top with the ground beef/pasta sauce mixture.
  • Bake uncovered for 30 minutes.
  • Remove from oven, sprinkle with the remaining 2 cups mozzarella cheese.
  • Return to oven and bake for 10 minutes longer, or until bubbly.
  • Let stand for 10-15 minutes before serving.

This is similar to many Baked Pasta dishes but with the distinct flavors of pizza. I created this recipe yesterday and took it to a dinner party as the main dish. It was a big hit and every woman there asked for the recipe. I decided that anything that popular should be posted here. You do not have to use the same kind of pasta I did...but should use a pasta which will remain slightly firm after boiling and baking so that it is not mushy. NOTE** I've had several people ask about when to add the spices...you can either add them to the sauce or to the sausage when you cook it. Either way works great! Since this recipe is an original creation of mine, it tickles me so very much that lots of people are enjoying it! Thanks everyone!

1 lb bow tie pasta
1 lb Jimmy Dean sausage, 'country mild' (or other flavor if desired)
1 large onion, medium size chopped (cooked with sausage)
2 (26 ounce) jars spaghetti sauce (I used Bertolli's Tomato & Basil)
1/2 lb cubed cooked ham
1/2-1 lb of sliced pepperoni
3 (8 ounce) bags of shredded mozzarella cheese
6 tablespoons of grated parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried oregano

Steps:

  • Cook pasta in boiling water until al denté.
  • Cook sausage, garlic powder and oregano with onions until the juices run clear.
  • In a lightly greased 9x13x3 inch pan, pour a small amount of sauce to lightly coat bottom.
  • Layer ingredients in the order listed below.
  • 1st layer-1/3 of the pasta, 1/3 remaining sauce, 1 bag of mozzarella cheese, 2 Tablespoons parmesan cheese, sausage and onions.
  • 2nd layer-1/2 of the remaining pasta, 1/2 remaining sauce, 1 bag of mozzarella cheese, 2 Tablespoons parmesan cheese, ham.
  • 3rd layer-all remaining pasta, all remaining sauce, 1 bag of mozzarella cheese, 2 Tablespoons parmesan cheese,all the pepperoni(completely covering the entire top with pepperoni).
  • Bake at 375°F for 40 minutes.
  • Let sit for 5 minutes before serving.

1 lb sausage
Italian spices
3 garlic cloves, pressed
1 cup onion, chopped
1 cup green pepper, chopped

8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
3 ounces thin sliced pepperoni, cut into quarters (save some for top of casserole)
15 ounces pizza sauce
7 ounces black olives, sliced
2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
1/4 cup parmesan cheese, shredded

Steps:

  • Brown meats with Italian Seasonings and drain off fat. Add onions, peppers, garlic and mushrooms and saute until tender. Remove from heat and add pizza sauce and most of the pepperoni, mix well.
  • Spray a 13X9 Pyrex baking dish with Pam, add meat mixture. Top with most of the black olives. Mix mozzarella and cheddar together and spead over the black olives. Sprinkle with parmesan and decorate the top with the remaining pepperoni and black olives.
  • Bake 425 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Let rest 10 minutes, cut and serve.

  • Boil noodles for amount of time specified on package directions. This Easy Pizza Casserole recipe is stupid-easy at it's finest: we're literally taking a couple cans of biscuits (cutting them up with scissors...) and tossing it with a bunch of sauce, pepperoni, and cheese, and calling it dinner. It's SO good. Your kids will love you.

2 (1-lb) cans buttermilk biscuits
1 (7-oz) package pepperoni
3-4 cups mozzarella cheese (divided)
2 (16-oz) jars pizza sauce (divided)
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning (divided)
3 tablespoons Parmesan cheese (grated)

Steps:

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a deep 9x13 inch casserole dish with nonstick spray.
  • Open the first can of biscuits and use scissors to cut them into sixths (cut each biscuit in half, then cut each half into 3.) Layer on the bottom of the dish.
  • Use half the package of pepperoni now: use scissors to cut the pepperoni into quarters. Spread over the top of the biscuits.
  • Add 1 and 1/2 cups mozzarella over the top.
  • Spread 1 jar of pizza sauce over the top.
  • Sprinkle with half a tablespoon of Italian seasoning.
  • Add the other can of cut biscuits, the other half of the package of pepperoni (cut), and HALF of the other jar of pizza sauce. Sprinkle with the remaining half tablespoon Italian seasoning.
  • Sprinkle with 1-2 cups of mozzarella. How cheesy you want it is up to you!
  • Grate 3-4 tablespoons of Parmesan over the top.
  • Spray a sheet of foil with nonstick spray and cover. Place the casserole dish on a large baking sheet (in case it bubbles over.)
  • Bake at 350 for about 60 minutes. Uncover and continue baking for 10-15 minutes, until the top has browned. Use a toothpick or fork to test a biscuit in the middle. It should be cooked all the way through. If not cover and stick it back in.
  • Serve with the leftover half jar pizza sauce! I like to warm it in the microwave.

1 tbsp + 1 tsp Italian seasoning (divided)
1 tbsp minced garlic
24 ounces pasta sauce

2 cups mozzarella cheese (shredded)
24 slices pepperoni
Fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350° F. Spray a 9x13 inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray and set aside.

  • Preheat oven to 350°. In a large skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Family-friendly dinners don't get much easier than this 4-Ingredient Dump and Bake Pizza Casserole! There's no need to boil the pasta ahead of time, since all of the ingredients cook together in one dish!

1 (16 ounce) package uncooked elbow pasta
3 cups (about 25.5 ounces) marinara sauce
3 cups water
1 (5 ounce) package mini pepperoni, divided ((or substitute with regular or turkey pepperoni, chopped))
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup shredded mozzarella
Optional: Parmesan cheese and fresh chopped parsley or basil, for garnish

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Spray a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  • In the prepared baking dish (or in a separate bowl), stir together uncooked pasta, marinara sauce, water, about ¾ of the package of pepperoni, and salt. Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  • Remove dish from oven, take off cover, and give the pasta a stir. At this point it should be almost done, but still a bit firm ("al dente").
  • Sprinkle mozzarella over the top and place remaining pepperoni slices on top of the cheese. Return the dish to the oven and bake, uncovered, for about 5-10 more minutes (or until cheese is melted and pasta is tender).
  • Garnish with optional grated Parmesan cheese and fresh herbs, if desired

1 tsp Onion Powder
1 tsp Garlic Powder

1 24 oz jar spaghetti sauce
1 8 oz package of spiral rotini pasta, cooked and drained
2 cups freshly shredded mozzarella cheese (or 1 8 oz package)
1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese
Pepperoni Slices (18-20, cut into quarters)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees and in a large skillet cook the ground Italian sausage (or ground beef) over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain the meat and place back in the skillet. Season with salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning, and top with spaghetti sauce. Stir until combined and remove from heat.
  • While the ground sausage is cooking, boil the rotini noodles in a pot according to package directions. Once fully cooked, drain the pasta and add to the ground sausage mixture. Stir until evenly combined.
  • Next, transfer the noodles and ground sausage mixture to a greased 13 x 9 baking dish. Sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese, diced pepperoni that has been cut into quarters, and top with shredded parmesan cheese. If desired, add an additional sprinkling of Italian seasoning.
  • Bake the pizza casserole uncovered in the oven at 350 degrees for 10 minutes or until the cheese has melted and the top is a light, golden brown.

14 ounces diced tomatoes (drained)
1 teaspoon oregano

14 ounces pizza sauce
2 cups marinara sauce (or pasta sauce)
3 cups mozzarella and cheddar blend (shredded)
1 cup pepperoni slices (divided)
¼ cup parmesan cheese (shredded)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 425°F.
  • Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain well.

16 oz. bag wide Amish egg noodles (or rotini noodles )
48 oz. jar Ragu or Prego spaghetti sauce ((or any tomato/spaghetti/pizza sauce you prefer))
3 cups mozzarella cheese (shredded (or more, if desired) )
1 to 2 cups ricotta cheese (if desired (I used 2 cups))
1 1/2 lbs. lean ground beef (or Italian sausage)
6 oz. pkg. sliced pepperoni
1/2 cup onion (diced)
1 cup bell peppers (diced)
1 cup sliced mushrooms (fresh preferred)
1/2 cup ripe olives (drained and sliced, if desired)
2 tsp. Italian seasoning (or more if desired)

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350°.
  • Brown the meat; drain.
  • Boil noodles until al dente.
  • Drain; add 1 to 2 tablespoons olive oil and stir to combine.

  • If using, stir onion, peppers, mushrooms, olives, Italian seasoning and basil into spaghetti sauce.

250 g (1⁄2 pound) cremini mushrooms
1 medium white onion, sliced
400 ml (13.5 oz) marinara sauce
12 slices salami
sliced ciabatta
200 g (7 oz) sharp mozzarella
1 ball soft mozzarella
10 black olives
1/4 cup parmesan
1/4 teaspoon chili flakes

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 210C/410F.
  • Layer ciabatta slices on the bottom of the baking pan to cover it completely.

1 pkg extra wide egg noodles (16oz); cooked and drainded
1 lb ground beef
1 lb bulk sausage (I use pork, can use Italian)
1 pkg pepperoni
2 jar(s) pizza sauce (30 ounce total)
2-4 c mozzarella cheese (depending on how cheesy you want it)
1 pkg mushrooms (sliced) (optional)
1 bell pepper-chopped (optional)
1 small onion-chopped (optional)
salt and pepper to taste
1-2 tsp sugar (optional, I use to make sauce less acidic)

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2. Cook noodles according to package directions.
  • 3. While noodles are cooking, brown sausage and hamburger in a pan.
  • 4. Add pepperoni the last few minutes of cooking the hamburger/sausage. Drain the grease from the meat.
  • 5. Also while noodles are cooking, saute vegetables of choice (if any) to add to casserole.
  • 6. Add pizza sauce to the meat mixture.
  • 7. Season with salt pepper and sugar.
  • 8. Add vegetables and warm for about 5 minutes.
  • 9. Toss noodles into the meat/sauce mixture.
  • 10. Spray a non-stick cooking spray into a 9x13 casserole dish.
  • 11. Pour the mixture into the dish. Top with enough mozzarella cheese to cover the casserole. [The more cheese the better :-)!!]
  • 12. Bake for 20-30 minutes at 350 (until bubbly).
  • 13. You can make this as simple or as complex as you desire. IF you go for the simpler route (noodles, hamburger, pepperoni and sauce) only need 1 jar sauce and 8 oz of noodles. If you go for the heartier version (all meats and veggies), use 2 jars sauce and 16 oz noodles.
