1 1/4 cups Jif crunchy peanut butter or 1 1/4 cups extra-crunchy peanut butter
1 lb sliced bacon

Steps:

  • Spread peanut butter generously on four slices of bread.
  • Top with four remaining bread slices and trim crusts.
  • Cut each sandwich into thirds, vertically and horizontally, to make nine cubes.
  • Cut each bacon slice into thirds and wrap each sandwich cube with bacon.
  • Secure with wooden toothpicks.
  • Place cubes on rack of a broiler pan.
  • Bake at 350 for 15 to 20 minutes or until bacon is nicely crisped.

2 tablespoons butter (melted)
9 slices white bread
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
6 slices bacon, fried crisp and crumbled

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  • Remove the crust from the bread (or buy bread with the crust already removed).
  • Brush both sides of the bread slices with melted butter.
  • Spread peanut butter on each slice of bread.
  • Top with crumbled bacon.
  • Cut each slice of bread into 4 pieces.
  • Place bread quarter on a non-stick baking sheet.
  • Bake on the center rack in the oven for 8 to 10 minutes or until bread turns brown and toasty.

1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespooons sriracha
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter, divided

6 tablespoons butter, softened
12 whole slider buns
12 slices pepper jack or cheddar cheese
12 slices cooked bacon
2 whole jalapenos, sliced
2 cups crispy French fries
1 whole purple onion, sliced

Steps:

  • Preheat a grill to medium-high heat. Mix together the ground beef, soy sauce, sriracha, 2 tablespoons of the peanut butter (you can leave the peanut butter out of the patties if desired) and a pinch of pepper. Divide the beef in 12 balls and flatten each ball into a patty the size of the slider buns. Butter both halves of each bun. When the grill is medium high, place the patties on the grill and cook for 4 minutes. Flip the patties over with a spatula and cook until your desired doneness is reached. During the last 2 minutes of cooking, place a slice of cheese on the top of each patty and close the grill lid. Remove the sliders to a plate and cover with foil. Grab the buttered slider buns and place cut side down on the grill for 1-2 minutes to toast them. 2 slices white bread or 2 slices potato bread
4 teaspoons soft butter
4 teaspoons peanut butter
3 -4 slices crisp cooked bacon

Steps:

  • Get together your equipment: skillet, metal spatula, saucepan lid (a Revereware saucepan lid is what we've always used, as it's the perfect size).
  • Evenly spread a teaspoon of butter on each side of both pieces of bread.
  • Spread 2 teaspoons of peanut butter on one side of each piece of bread.
  • Place the cooked bacon on one of the pieces of bread, then cover it with the other slice so that the bacon is sandwiched by the peanut butter.
  • Heat up a skillet over medium temperature, and when it is hot place the sandwich in; push the bread down a little with a metal spatula, then cover the whole thing up with the saucepan lid (the idea is to heat the air underneath the lid and warm the peanut butter up as you're also browning the bread).
  • Uncover every minute and check the cooking bread color- you want it golden, not burnt.
  • When it's to the color you like, carefully flip the sandwich over, press down on it with the spatula to squish the bread, peanut butter, and bacon together, and re-cover with the saucepan.
  • After about 3-5 minutes of slow cooking, you'll have a wonderfully golden, melty, gooey grilled peanut butter and bacon sandwich!

14 very thin slices firm white sandwich bread

Steps:

  • Put oven rack in middle position and preheat oven to 375°F.
  • Stir together cheese, bacon, onion, horseradish, salt, and pepper in a bowl with a rubber spatula until blended well.
