1 teaspoon kosher salt, divided
½ teaspoon black pepper, divided
¼ cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 (8 ounce) package sliced baby portobello mushrooms
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
1 ½ cups unsalted chicken stock or broth
½ cup half-and-half
9 ounces fresh linguine pasta
⅓ cup grated Asiago cheese
2 cups baby spinach leaves

Steps:

  • Season chicken with 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper; coat chicken with flour on both sides, shaking off any excess (wash hands).
  • Preheat large saute on medium-high 2-3 minutes. Place oil and butter in pan, cook chicken 2-3 minutes on each side or until browned and 165 degrees F. Remove chicken from pan.
  • Place mushrooms, garlic, thyme, remaining 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper in pan; cook and stir 2 minutes. Cut pasta in half.
  • Stir in stock, half-and-half, and pasta; cook and stir 3-4 minutes or until pasta is tender. Stir in cheese and spinach; cook 1 minute or until cheese melts. Serve chicken over pasta.

An amazingly creamy baked chicken with asiago cheese inside. It comes together quickly and will be loved by the entire family!

4 chicken breasts
1 cup light mayonaise or greek yogurt (I used ½ of each and it was delish!)
½ cup asiago cheese (and reserve more for top)
1½ tsp seasoning salt
½ tsp pepper
1 tsp garlic powder

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees and spray a 9x13 pan with cooking spray. Lay the chicken inside the pan.
  • Mix together all ingredients. Spread the mixture evenly over each piece so that the chicken won't dry out while baking.
  • Sprinkle the top with fresh asiago on the top of the chicken.
  • Bake uncovered for 45 minutes. Enjoy!

1 (16 ounce) package farfalle (bow tie) pasta
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 pound skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - cubed
2 ¼ cups heavy cream, divided
¼ cube chicken bouillon, crumbled
¾ cup grated Asiago cheese
½ tablespoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons butter
¼ cup chopped prosciutto
1 tablespoon chopped fresh garlic
¼ cup sliced mushrooms
½ tablespoon parsley flakes

Steps:

  • Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook pasta for 8 to 10 minutes, or until al dente. Drain, and set aside.
  • Heat 2 tablespoons vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir chicken cubes, reducing heat if necessary, until no longer pink in center and juices run clear. Set aside.
  • In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups cream to a simmer, stirring often. Whisk in bouillon and cheese until well blended and bouillon has dissolved completely. Dissolve cornstarch in 2 tablespoons water, and whisk into mixture. Cook and stir 2 minutes more, then remove from heat and set aside.
  • Melt butter in a medium skillet over medium high heat. Stir in prosciutto, garlic, and mushrooms and cook until mushrooms are tender, about 3 minutes. Add chicken, reduce heat, and continue cooking until chicken is heated through. Return sauce to the stove and add remaining 1/4 cup cream and parsley flakes. Heat through.
  • To serve, place pasta in a large mixing or serving bowl. Add chicken and mushroom mixture and pour in cream sauce. Toss well, and serve.

12 ounces penne pasta, cooked according to package directions and drained; set aside
4 tablespoons olive oil
1 to 1.25 pounds boneless skinless chicken breast, diced into bite-sized pieces
1 large red bell pepper, seeded and diced into small pieces
2 cups green beans or haricots vert, halved or trimmed into bite-sized pieces
3 to 5 cloves garlic, finely minced or pressed
1 to 2 teaspoons kosher salt, or to taste
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper, or to taste
2 cups shredded asiago cheese (about 12 ounces)
1 to 2 tablespoons fresh basil, finely minced

Steps:

  • To a large pot, cook the pasta according to package directions, drain; set aside. While the pasta cooks, continue with the recipe.
  • To a very large skillet, add the olive oil, chicken, and cook over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes or until done; stir and flip intermittently to ensure even cooking.
  • Add the red pepper, green beans, cover, and allow vegetables to steam for about 4 minutes, or until vegetables begin to soften.
  • Add the garlic and cook for about 1 minute, or until fragrant; stir nearly continuously.
  • Evenly sprinkle with salt, pepper, and stir to combine.
  • Add the pasta and stir to combine.
  • Add the cheese and toss and stir to combine; stir nearly continuously until melted.

16 oz rigatoni pasta
8 oz bag baby spinach
1 1/2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breast (trimmed and cut into 1" cubes)
3 Tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp dried basil
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/2 yellow onion (diced)
2 Tbsp all-purpose flour
2 1/2 cups milk
8 oz package cream cheese (cut into pieces)
1/2 cup Asiago cheese (grated )
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 cup mozzarella cheese (shredded )

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees then coat a 2-quart casserole dish with cooking spray. Place a large pot of water over high heat then bring to a boil. When the water comes to a boil, add a generous pinch of salt and pasta. Cook, stirring occasionally for about 2 minutes less than the recommended cooking time on the package. Drain completely, transfer pasta to a large mixing bowl then set aside. Leave colander in the sink to drain the spinach.
  • Place large skillet over medium heat, add spinach and ¼ cup of water. Cook, stirring frequently, just until the spinach is wilted and becomes dark green. Remove spinach from pan then place in the strainer. Press as much water as possible from the spinach by pressing with the back of a spoon then set aside to cool.
  • Return skillet to heat then add olive oil. When the oil is hot, add cubed chicken then cook for 2 minutes until chicken begins to turn white. Add salt, pepper, ¼ tsp garlic powder, onion powder, dried basil and dried oregano then stir to combine.
  • Cook for 3-4 minutes or until the chicken becomes light golden brown and is barely cooked through. Don't worry if the chicken is slightly undercooked-it will finish in the oven. Transfer chicken from skillet onto a plate then set aside. Leave remaining oil in the skillet, and if necessary, add enough additional olive oil to make 2 Tbsp. Add onions and cook 3-4 minutes until softened.
  • Add 2 Tbsp of flour to oil in the skillet then stir to dissolve. Cook for 1 minute then stir in milk to dissolve flour mixture completely. Bring milk to boil then let it bubble for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Reduce heat to medium-low then add cream cheese. Stir until completely melted and incorporated then add asiago cheese, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Remove from heat then stir to combine.
  • Chop spinach coarsely then stir it into the sauce. Once spinach is distributed through the sauce, pour sauce over the pasta in mixing bowl. Add chicken to the bowl then toss to combine. Transfer mixture to the prepared casserole dish then top with mozzarella cheese. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is melted and golden brown and the sauce is bubbly. Enjoy!

1 pkg penne pasta
3/4 c heavy cream
2 boneless chicken breasts, cut into cubes
4-5 piece of bacon, roughly chopped
1 c asiago cheese, grated
1 c onion, chopped
2 clove garlic, roughly chopped
1 can(s) diced tomatoes (approx 15 oz, but add more if you like more tomatoes)
1 Tbsp basil, dried
1 Tbsp parsley flakes
1 Tbsp oregano, dried
3 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp pepper
2 Tbsp butter
2 Tbsp olive oil

Steps:

  • 1. Cook pasta noodles according to instructions. Strain and set aside in a large bowl.
  • 2. Heat oil in large skillet. Add chicken and cook until done. Place in bowl and set aside.
  • 3. Heat butter in same large skillet. Add bacon, onion and garlic. Saute for approximately 5 minutes. Remove and add to pasta bowl.
  • 4. Add the tomatoes (with liquid), oregano, basil, sugar and pepper.
  • 5. Cook over medium-lo heat until liquid slightly reduces. Add cream and chicken, and cook another 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • 6. Add cheese and stir until melted.
  • 7. Pour the sauce mixture over the pasta and toss well. Serve with grated Parmesan cheese.

2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
12 ounces evaporated milk (low fat or regular)
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup chicken broth
1 cup shredded asiago cheese
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 lb boneless chicken breast, cut into cubes
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 lb bow tie pasta

Steps:

  • In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the flour and stir just until mixed.
  • Add the evaporated milk, regular milk and chicken broth and cook, stirring often, until the sauce thickens and begins to simmer.
  • Remove from heat and add the Asiago cheese, stirring just until the cheese melts smoothly into the sauce. Set aside.
  • Heat the olive oil in a large, preferably non-stick, skillet. Add the cubed chicken, parsley and garlic, and continue to cook, stirring frequently, until the chicken is opaque and cooked through - 8 to 10 minutes. Add the Asiago sauce and season with salt and pepper. Stir to combine.
  • Meanwhile, cook the bow tie pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water until tender but not mushy.
  • Drain well in a colander, then return pasta to the pot and add the chicken and Asiago sauce. Toss to combine and serve immediately, with additional grated Asiago cheese sprinkled on top, if desired.
  • If making ahead, transfer the sauce to a covered container and refrigerate. When you are ready to serve dinner, place sauce in a large saucepan and heat very gently over low heat, stirring often. Don't let it boil.

1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast (about 2 large)
2 cups mushrooms (cut in half)
1 clove garlic (minced)
3 sprigs thyme
1 1/2 cups dry white wine
1/2 cup seasoned flour
2 tbs butter
2 tbs olive oil
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/3 cup shredded asiago cheese
1/2 tsp salt (or to taste)
1/4 tsp pepper (or to taste)
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper

Steps:

  • Pound chicken breast with a meat mallet between 2 sheets of waxed paper or plastic wrap until meat is uniform thickness; about 1/4-inch. Cut into serving-sized pieces (2 or 3 pieces per breast)
  • Heat the butter with *1* tbs of olive oil in deep, heavy skillet or saute pan over medium heat.
  • Dredge chicken in seasoned flour. Add to hot oil/butter in skillet. Saute until golden on each side, about 5 minutes per side. Remove from pan.
  • Add remaining olive oil to hot skillet. Saute mushrooms and garlic until mushrooms begin to brown.
  • Add white wine to skillet, scraping up all the browned bits that are at the bottom of the pan (this is called "deglazing"). Bruise the fresh thyme by twisting it between your fingers or hitting it with the dull side of a knife in a few places. Add thyme to mushroom/wine mixture in pan.
  • Add the chicken back to the pan. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat, cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes.
  • Remove chicken from pan. Add the cream and heat through. Add the asiago cheese (if you like it strongly flavored, use 1/2 cup; not as strongly flavored, use the 1/4 cup-asiago is a powerful cheese and you can even use less for just a whisper of flavor. I like it strong so I used 1/2 cup).
  • Cook, stirring constantly over low heat until cheese melts. Continue cooking until sauce is reduced by about 1/2. If you wish to skip the reduction step, you may thicken the sauce slightly with about 1 tbs instant flour or 1 tbs cornstarch mixed with 2 tbs water...however, the reduction will taste better.
  • Add chicken back to pan and heat through.
  • Garnish with sprigs of fresh thyme. May be served over any pasta.

  • Use sun-dried tomatoes in oil - if the sun-dried tomatoes are too big, chop them into smaller bites.

Transfer chicken from skillet onto a plate then set aside. Leave remaining oil in the skillet, and, if necessary, add enough additional olive oil to make 2 Tbsp.
