2 tablespoons dried mulberries (optional, but worth it)
3 tablespoons rolled oats or quick cooking oats
1 tablespoon sunflower seed butter
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 cup apple cider or apple juice (unsweetened)
1/2 cup milk
1 cup ice

Steps:

  • Add the apple, mulberries (if using), oats, and sunflower seed butter to the blender along with cinnamon and nutmeg. Then pour in apple cider and milk. Blend till smooth. Add 1 cup of ice, blending till smooth and frothy. Serve immediately!

2 cups milk, (unsweetened plant-based, like almond, oat or cashew milk)
2 tbsp peanut butter or almond butter
1 large apple (cored, but not peeled)
1 tbsp hemp hearts
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/8 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract, (optional)
2 tbsp maple syrup or more if your apple isn't sweet, (or use Lacanto Monkfruit sweetener)
3-4 ice cubes

Steps:

  • Core the apple and slice the flesh into chunks.
  • If using a high-speed blender, add all ingredients to the blender container and process until smooth.
  • If using a regular blender, blend the oats first, then add the remaining ingredients. Serve immediately.

candy sprinkles (optional)

Steps:

  • Mix the water, oats, salt, cinnamon, ginger, and vanilla in medium sauce pan.
  • Bring to a boil and reduce heat to just above medium.
  • Continue boiling for 3 minutes.
  • Add sugar and stir.
  • Add applesauce and stir.
  • Scoop into bowls and add small amount of milk (do not stir).
  • Top with sprinkles 4 fun!
