1 teaspoon ginger
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons honey mustard
4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves

Steps:

  • Heat grill. In small saucepan, combine all glaze ingredients; mix well. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Boil 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  • When ready to grill, lightly brush glaze on one side of each chicken breast half. Place chicken, glaze side down, on gas grill over medium heat or on charcoal grill 4 to 6 inches from medium coals. Lightly brush glaze over chicken; cook 5 to 8 minutes.
  • Turn chicken; cook an additional 5 to 8 minutes or until fork-tender and juices run clear. Bring any remaining glaze to a boil; serve with chicken.

1/2 cup Manischewitz Honey (spray the measuring cup with nonstick spray before measuring the honey; it will slide right out!)
1/3 cup Haddar Dijon Mustard
3 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 large yellow onion, halved and thinly sliced
1-2 green apples, peeled, cored, and thinly sliced
1 whole chicken, cut into 10 pieces (or 8-10 pieces of whatever you like)
kosher salt, for seasoning the chicken
coarsely ground black pepper, for seasoning the chicken
1-2 cups Gefen Panko Crumbs

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (180 degrees Celsius). Coat a large Pyrex baking dish or nine- by 13-inch pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  • In a bowl, combine the ingredients for the honey mustard; set aside.
  • Place sliced onions and half the sliced apples into the pan. Top with chicken pieces. Sprinkle chicken liberally with salt and pepper.
  • Use a spoon to coat all the chicken pieces with the honey mustard. Sprinkle the breadcrumbs over the honey mustard till the chicken is fully coated.
  • Place remaining apple slices in the little nooks and crannies all around the chicken.
  • Spray the breadcrumbs with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Cover the baking dish tightly with foil. Bake for one hour and 20 minutes. Remove foil; continue baking until the top is crispy and the chicken is cooked to your taste. Serve hot and enjoy!

1 (1.5 pound) package small yellow-fleshed potatoes
3 pounds skin-on, boneless chicken thighs
3 small apples, peeled and diced
½ medium sweet onion, diced
1 cup chicken broth
½ cup honey
⅓ cup applesauce
1 clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
½ teaspoon ground cumin
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

Steps:

  • Chop any large potatoes in half.
  • Place potatoes in the bottom of a slow cooker. Add chicken thighs on top of potatoes, and spread apples and onion over top.
  • Mix chicken broth, honey, applesauce, garlic, salt, cinnamon, cumin, and pepper together in a bowl; pour over chicken mixture.
  • Cook until chicken is no longer pink at the bone and the juices run clear, 4 to 6 hours on Low, or about 3 hours on High. An instant-read thermometer inserted near the bone should read 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).
  • Set an oven rack about 6 inches from the heat source and preheat the oven's broiler. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.

2 apples, unpeeled and cored and cut into eighths (use Golden delicious, Granny Smith, Jonathan, Pippin, or McIntosh apples)

  • Whisk cider, cornstarch, mustard, honey, salt and pepper (to taste) in a bowl. Set aside.
