Steps:
- Add the pasta to a large pot of boiling salted water, over medium heat, and cook until al dente.
- Meanwhile, heat a large 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Add the olive oil. Once shimmering and hot, add the shrimp and saute until just cooked through, about 2 to 3 minutes. Remove to a plate and reserve. Add the garlic and red pepper flakes to the skillet, then saute for until the garlic is fragrant, about 1 minute. Add the lemon juice and white wine and raise the heat to high. Let the liquid reduce for 2 to 3 minutes. Whisk in the butter, add a ladleful of the pasta cooking water and return the shrimp. Remove from the heat.
- Drain the pasta in a colander, and add it to the skillet along with the chopped parsley and toss. Add the lemon zest and adjust the seasonings with salt and pepper, to taste. Transfer to a serving platter and serve immediately.
ANGEL HAIR PASTA WITH SAUSAGE & SPINACH
You won't miss the marinara sauce once you taste this pasta dish flavored with chicken broth and Italian sausage. The sauce simmers away on its own, without much work on your part. My husband likes it so much that I make it twice a week. -Daphine Smith, Baytown, Texas

SHRIMP SCAMPI WITH ANGEL HAIR PASTA
This is always a hit. The best part is how fast you can whip it up! You could just buy roasted tomatoes in a jar, but I think roasting them yourself gives the dish a very fresh, deep flavor.

SHRIMP AND ANGEL HAIR PASTA
Easy, healthy, and FAST. This is a great weeknight dinner adapted from Woman's Day magazine, although its elegant enough for a dinner party. Just make sure to do your prep work ahead of time, since this comes together quickly. Great served with peas/onions side dish.

Steps:
- Remove Italian Sausage from caseing. In an electric skillet or on top of the stove, brown very slowly the Italian sausage, the objective here is to brown it slow enough to allow the fat to run off into the skillet, add salt, pepper and press garlic, to the Italian Sausage once is has cooked.
- While Sausage is cooking chop tops of green onions and set aside.
- Mix water and flour together, make sure it is not lumpy and set aside.
- Add shelled and deveined shrimp to sausage , allow to cook for 3 minutes.
- Add Heavy Cream to Shrimp and Sausage, enough to cover over about an inch and a half, increase heat slightly, add water and flour mixture to thicken. Simmer to desired thickness. (Do not over cook shrimp).
- Sauce should be the consistancy of alfredo sauce and light pink in color (from the sausage fat). Serve over fresh Angel Hair Pasta tossed with Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Add fresh chopped green onion tops, Rosemary, Fresh Fancy Grated Parmesean and Ramano Cheese -- enjoy.

TOASTED ANGEL HAIR PASTA WITH ROASTED RED PEPPERS AND SAUSAGE
This is one of our favorite pasta meals..I use 1 sweet and 1 hot italian sausage for this recipe if you use 2 hot sausages it will be rather hot...Cooked all in one pan ....Cooking time does not include roasting red pepper...Place clean an cored and halved pepper on piece of foil, rub olive oil over outside of pepper and bake in 450 degree oven till black appears and bubbles in skin, remove from oven and cover with a bowl or pan lid 10 -15 minutes, peel skin off peppers..I love roasted red peppers and add them to alot of meals I prepare....

- Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook angel hair pasta in the boiling water, stirring occasionally, until tender yet firm to the bite, 4 to 5 minutes. Drain.
- Meanwhile, butterfly shrimp, and lightly press open.
- Mix flour, salt, garlic, and black pepper in a shallow dish. Reserve 2 tablespoons flour mixture and set aside. Dredge shrimp in flour mixture until well coated, shaking off excess flour.

- Heat remaining 2 tablespoons oil in the same skillet and stir in reserved flour mixture. Stir and cook for 1 to 2 minutes, but be careful so it doesn't burn. Add chicken broth and white wine. Remove skillet from heat and stir in remaining 2 tablespoons butter until melted.

EASY SHRIMP AND ANGEL HAIR PASTA
I took a basic scampi recipe (Thanks NurseDi) and updated it for what I had on hand. Also faster to prepare if you use the garlic already minced, mushrooms from a can and so forth, fresh could of course be used. My husband loved it, he's a huge garlic fan. I recommend a regular Italian Dressing instead of a fat free, for the oil content.
