My son's best friend has a severe nut allergy. I use alot of almond paste in my baking during the holidays and felt badly that he could not eat any of it. I came up with this alternate and he loves it! He said, "man I wish my Mom had done this for me when I was little". He is only 15! LOL but it is tested and approved...Hope you...

Number Of Ingredients 4

Ingredients

1 8 oz package of creamed cheese
1 egg yolk
3/4 c sugar
1/3 tsp imitation almond flavoring

Steps:

1. let cream cheese come to room temp, Cream in sugar until super creamy,gently mix in egg yolk and imitation almond flavoring until smooth. Use in any recipe that calls for almond paste.
