LARRY'S TERIYAKI MARINADE
We were invited over to the neighbors for lunch the other day, and Larry had grilled up some steak strips soaked in this sauce. They were out of this world. Here is the recipe.

Steps:
- Combine all ingredients and pour over steak strips.
- Marinate at least an hour or two - overnight is better!
- Drain and broil or grill meat.
- Note: You can also mix ingredients in a ziploc bag and marinate right in the bag.

TERIYAKI MARINADE
This is a super fast, easy and delicious all purpose marinade. Just as wonderful on flank steak as it is on chicken.

Steps:
- Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
- Pour over desired meat in a large zip lock bag and marinate preferably overnight, but at least 3 or 4 hours.
- Makes enough for 2-3 pounds of meat.

TERIYAKI MARINADE
Teriyaki marinade. I usually use it for shish kabobs, also makes good stir fry. I tend to go light on the honey and heavy on the garlic.

Steps:
- Combine everything that's not meat. Mix well.
- Add meat. If whole poke holes with fork so the teriyaki penetrates. I think the best flavor is from chunks.
- Let stand 24 hours in fridge. Sometimes I let it go longer. The longer the better as long as it doesn't start decaying.

ALL PURPOSE TERIYAKI MARINADE
My mother-in-law gave me a marinade recipe for chicken wings back in the days before teryaki was a common household word. Through the years, I have adjusted it to suit my family's taste. I mentioned the brand name because I feel it has the best flavor. Light soy is even more important for the even taste.

Steps:
- Combine all ingredients in a covered container, and shake well.
- Pour over meat or vegetables, and marinate, preferably overnight.
- If marinating wings, cut several slits through the skin.
- Boneless breasts are better if pounded with a meat mallet before marinating.
- I like to use a gallon sized zipper bag for the marinating.
- Throw away any unused marinade.
