- Air Fryer Churros. This might just be the perfect recipe for your first air fryer dessert! Churros are made by dropping ropes of dough into hot oil and then rolling in cinnamon sugar once they’re golden and crisp.
- Air Fryer Oreos. When you go to the state or local fair, do you run to the rides or the concession stand first? Between the fried Oreos and corn dogs, I can’t help but hit the food first.
- Air Fryer Cake. I know I said that the air fryer is best for making crispy foods without having to deep-fry, but it’s also a great little oven. A coil and a mini-fan that heats the drawer just like a convection oven, and if you have the right sized baking dish, you can make one cute little cake.
- Air Fryer Apple Fritters. Apple fritters are pastries that are a little like donuts but can be made with a simple batter rather than using yeast. That means no resting or proofing, and you can make and eat them right away.
- Air Fryer Apple Fries. Come apple season; I admit I might go a tad overboard. Between the pies and cakes and apple butter, I just can’t get enough. But these might just be one of my favorite little snacks.
- Air Fryer S’mores. Not only is this genius, but it’s also mess-free. You’ll still get your gooey marshmallow and melted chocolate, but it comes together in one neat little package.
- Copycat Domino’s Cinnamon Bread Twists. Even after a pizza, I would still be happy to devour a box of these warm, tender, sweet bread twists. This bread is a fantastic twist on those incredible yogurt bagels (which you can also make in the air fryer)!
- Air Fryer Apple Hand Pies. All you’ll need for this recipe is pie dough, pie filling, egg wash, and sugar. Of course, this specific recipe calls for apple pie filling, but I’ve made it with blueberry and cherry and plan to make a peach and raspberry version soon.
- Air Fryer Beignets. If you’re dreaming of New Orleans and a batch of Cafe Du Monde’s beignets, I’m thinking you’ll have to wait a while for the real thing.
- Air Fryer Baked Apples. Baked apples are such a fabulous dessert, and with the oat topping, it’s like a self-contained apple-crisp. I would recommend cutting the back a little to give you a flat surface and sprinkle with a touch of brown sugar before cooking.
