I used to buy roasted chickpeas, but I love how fresh these taste! The air fryer is great for making foods you'd normally buy packaged, like potato chips or fruit chips.

1 15-ounce can chickpeas, drained, rinsed and patted dry
1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
Fine sea salt
4 teaspoons ranch seasoning

Steps:

  • Preheat a 6-quart air fryer to 375˚ F. Toss the chickpeas with the olive oil and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Add to the air fryer basket in an even layer and cook, tossing occasionally, until crisp and golden, 20 to 22 minutes.
  • Remove the warm chickpeas to a bowl and toss with the ranch seasoning.

Steps:

  • Heat air fryer to 400ºF. In medium sized bowl, toss chickpeas with oil, salt, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, and black pepper.
  • Pour chickpeas into air fryer basket, spreading them out as much as possible.
  • Cook for 12 minutes, shaking 2-3 times during cooking time to ensure even cooking.

Steps:

  • Combine chickpeas and vinegar in a small saucepan and bring to a simmer. Remove from heat. Let stand for 30 minutes.
  • Drain chickpeas, removing any loose skins.
