Number Of Ingredients 6

2 cup mango (cubed)
2 cup curd / yogurt
3 tbsp sugar
¼ tsp cardamom powder / elachi powder
few tutti frutti (optional)
2 mint leaves (optional)

Steps:

  • firstly, in a large blender take 2 cup mango and 2 cup curd.
  • also add 3 tbsp sugar and ¼ tsp cardamom powder.
  • blend smooth without adding any water.
  • transfer to prepared lassi into glass jar.
  • finally, garnish with few tutti frutti and mint leaves before serving mango lassi.

Blitz up mangoes with yogurt, cardamom, lime and honey and you have the most delicious lassi drink - a bit like a smoothie and great for breakfast

3-4 ripe mangoes (honey mangoes if possible)
500g natural yogurt
a pinch ground cardamom (crush the seeds from 1-2 pods)
1 tbsp honey
2 limes , juiced, to taste

Steps:

  • Put all the ingredients apart from the lime juice in a food processor and blitz. Add the lime juice along with a pinch of salt, to taste, if the cardamom isn't strong enough then add a little more, then pour into glasses with some ice cubes and serve.
