This salad has been a regular at our church potluck dinners and is always enjoyed by many. I asked for the recipe early on and have made it many times in the past 15 years.

Steps:
- Layer lettuce, cucumber, peas, Cheddar cheese, and egg, respectively, in a 9x13-inch casserole dish.
- Whisk creamy salad dressing, sugar, and vinegar together in a bowl until dressing is smooth; spread over the egg layer. Crumble bacon over dressing layer.

A delicious salad with lots of toppings. The only way to have a lettuce salad is with plenty of things on top!

Steps:
- Layer bottom of serving dish with lettuce.
- Cut up celery, green pepper, and green onion and spread over lettuce.
- Spread the cut up eggs next. Follow with peas and bacon.
- Mix mayo and sugar together distribute over top.
- Spread grated cheese on top and serve!
SEVEN-LAYER SALAD
This recipe was made every holiday by my late aunt. I'm not a great cook, but this is so easy and so delicious that it's my "assigned" dish at every family get-together!

- Fry 6-8 pieces of bacon, drain on paper towels, and crumble. Set aside for garnish.
- Hard boil the eggs.
- In a large clear glass trifle bowl, layer the spinach, lettuce, sliced onions, sliced eggs, peas and cheese.
- Mix mayonnaise and sour cream and spread on top.
- Sprinkle with crumbled bacon.

This 7 layer salad recipe sounds like a bunch of vegetables thrown together, but every occasion people ask me if I will make this, it is really gooooooood. Overnight chilling not included in preparation time.

This is one of my favorite salads......add chopped cooked chicken or crumbled bacon to make this into a main dish.

Steps:
- Using a large bowl, place in layers in the following order.
- lettuce
- cauliflower
- peas
- bacon
- red onion.
- Mix the parmesan cheese, sugar and mayo together and "frost" the top of the layered veggies
- Cover and chill 8 hours or overnight.
- When ready to serve, let stand at room temperature for 10 minutes before tossing.
- Can be cut in half for less people.
MEXICAN SEVEN LAYER SALAD
Seven Layer Salad with Chilpotle spiced Dressing with Lime. The original recipe came from Cookingclub.com. I ajusted some of the ingredient amounts for less waste. It was a great Tex Mex dish for pot luck gatherings.

- Whisk together dressing ingredients (1st 5) let set for 10 minute.
- In deep 10 cup clear bowl, layer half the lettuce. Top with corn,tomato,avocado, bell pepper, beans, red onion, remaining lettuce, and cheese. Spread out so layers show on outside of dish.
- Spread dressing on top covering the cheese completely.
- Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate for up to 2 hours.
- Sprinkle with Chips just before serving.

EASY ENTERTAINING 7-LAYER SALAD
This is a variation of the old "seven layer salad", but a good one! Cook time is for frying the bacon.

Steps:
- In a medium bowl, mix Miracle Whip, milk, and sugar. Set aside.
- Cook bacon, either by frying or baking (bake at 400 for 20 minutes). Set aside.
- Cut lettuce into 1" pieces. Place in large bowl or casserole dish.
- Chop green onions. Layer on top of the lettuce.
- Chop green pepper into small pieces. Layer on top of the green onions.
- Cover the veggies with the Miracle Whip mixture.
- Layer peas on top of Miracle Whip mixture.
- Top with cheddar cheese.
- Chop bacon, and top the dish with it.
- You can serve immediately, but refrigerate for two hours before serving, if possible.

MY MOTHER- IN-LAW'S 7 LAYER SALAD
There are actually 8 layers, but as long as I have known my husband, his mom has been making this for all of the gatherings and it has been known as 7 layer salad! This salad looks especially nice in a glass bowl to display the layers.

DELICIOUS 7 LAYER SALAD
This is my "go to" recipe when I'm hungry for this delicious 7 layer salad. I got the recipe from a friend of mine 15 years ago. You have to let it sit overnight to come together, so prepare the day before. Give it a try and I hope you enjoy it as much as we do. Cooking time is refrigeration over night.

- Layer first 5 ingredients in a shallow dish.
- Spread mayonnaise over the top as if you were icing a cake. Sprinkle Swiss cheese over the mayonnaise and chill.
