- In a 2-qt. trifle bowl or glass serving bowl, layer fresh vegetables and avocado. In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, chiles and seasonings; spread over top. Sprinkle with chips and cheese.

- In a medium bowl, blend the taco seasoning mix and refried beans. Spread the mixture onto a large serving platter.

Steps:
- Chop lettuce and toss in a large bowl with grated cabbage and carrots.
- Spread mixture into the bottom of a deep glass salad bowl.
- Peel and slice avocado and toss with lemon juice.
- This prevents avocado from turning brown.
- Evenly cover the lettuce with a layer of tomato, followed by a layer of avocado, a layer of green onion, a layer of beans and a layer of chips.
- Pour the dressing over all and sprinkle with the cheese.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 45 minutes before serving.
- For a spicier dressing mix taco seasoning with Ranch dressing if desired.

- Brown hamburger with chopped onion.
- Drain.
- Add taco seasoning.
- Layer refried beans at bottom of oblong pan followed by browned hamburger mix.
- Next mix the three jars of salsa and pour over hamburger.
- Spread on top of that the shredded cheese, and then the sour cream.
- Chop the lettuce fine and sprinkle on top of the sour cream leaving a large hole in the middle. The chopped tomatoes go inside the hole, still leaving room for the chopped green onions.
- Serve with the Tostitos chips.

- Layer #1: Spread the entire can of refried beans on a dinner-sized plate/platter.
- Layer #2: Mash the avocados with a little fresh lime juice & salt to taste. Spread avocado evenly over refried beans.
- Layer #3: Mix the taco xeasoning into the container of sour cream. Spread this evenly over the avocado layer.
- Layer #4: Chopped green onion.
- Layer #5: Sliced black olives.
- Layer #6: Chopped tomatoes--I like to remove the seeds before chopping so it does not turn into 7-Layer Soup.
