OVEN FRENCH FRIES
A healthy way to make french fries - once you try these you'll never go back to the old "frying" method! Enjoy!!

Steps:
- Wash potatoes and cut them into semi-thin strips.
- Place strips in a bowl and add cool water to cover the potatoes.
- Wash out some of the"starch" and then drain the potatoes well.
- Mix in the olive oil and sprinkle with salt.
- Mix all of the potatoes well so that they all get coated evenly.
- Spray a cookie sheet with PAM and then place the potatoes on top.
- Cook at 350F for approximately 20-25 minutes (more if you want them crunchy and brown) Serve and enjoy!
BEST BAKED FRENCH FRIES
The healthiest way to make fries is to bake them. It saves money and you can't beat the taste. I have been playing around with different ways to bake fries for some time now, and I feel this is the best recipe thus far. Baking time may vary depending on how thick you cut the fries. Enjoy!

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil; spray with cooking spray.
- Place sliced potatoes in a colander; sprinkle sugar over potatoes. Set aside until liquid is released from potatoes, 20 to 30 minutes. Drain liquid and dry potatoes well.
- Mix potato slices, olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper in a resealable bag until evenly coated. Spread coated potato slices in a single layer, leaving space around each potato, on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes; flip fries and continue baking until crisp and browned, about 20 more minutes.

Steps:
- Scrub potatoes and cut into long 1/2-inch strips.
- Place potato strips into ice water, cover, and chill for 1 hour or longer.
- Remove potatoes and dry strips thoroughly.
- Place garlic powder, onion powder, salt, white pepper, allspice, and pepper flakes in a plastic bag.
- Toss potatoes in spice mixture.
- Brush potatoes with oil.
- Place potatoes in nonstick shallow baking pan.
- Cover with aluminum foil and place in 475°F oven for 15 minutes.
- Remove foil and continue baking uncovered for an additional 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Turn fries occasionally to brown on all sides.
ZIPPY OVEN FRENCH FRIES
Crispy and spicy potatoes coated in French fried onions and parmesan cheese. Easy, fast and great flavor! One pound equals about 3 medium potatoes. Potatoes can be stored for several weeks at temperatures of 45F to 50F in a cool, dry, dark place. Light causes them to turn green!

- Preheat oven to 400°F
- Place potatoes, butter and Frank's RedHot Sauce in large resealable plastic bag; Seal bag and toss potatoes to coat.
- Combine Fried Onions and cheese on sheet of waxed paper.
- Coat potatoes in crumb mixture, pressing firmly.
- Arrange potatoes in single layer in shallow baking pan coated with nonstick cooking spray.
- Bake, uncovered, 25 minutes or until potatoes are tender and golden brown.
- Serve with more hot sauce or mix 1 C ketchup w/ 1 or 2 T of hot sauce for a spicy dip.

- Preheat oven to 425. Wash potatoes; pat dry with paper towels. Cut into 1/4 inch thick strips; transfer to large bowl. Add dressing and Parmesan cheese; toss well.
- Arrange potatoes in a single layer on 2 large baking sheets that have been sprayed with Pam. Spray potatoes with Pam.
- Bake 12 minutes. Turn potatoes over with large spatula. Continue baking 10-12 minutes or until golden brown with crisp.
