Ingredients

1/2 cup sugar
Juice and zest of 1 lemon
4 cups berry zinger tea brewed with 2 teabags, cooled
4 ounces bourbon, optional
Crushed ice

Steps:

In a small saucepan over medium heat, stir together the sugar, 1/4 cup water, and lemon juice and zest. Bring to a simmer and stir to completely dissolve the sugar. Remove from the heat and cool completely.
In a large pitcher, stir together the brewed tea with the lemon simple syrup and 1 cup cold water. Stir in the bourbon if using and pour over crushed ice in glasses.

3 green tea bags
1 1/3 cups agave nectar
1 1/3 cups fresh lime juice
6 lime slices, for garnish

Steps:

Bring the water to boil in a 3-quart saucepan. Add the mint and tea bags, remove from the heat, and let steep for 5 minutes.
Strain.
Stir in the agave and lime juice.
Serve hot or iced, garnished with the lime slices.
