Ingredients

2/3 cup Smart Balance butter spread
2 eggs
1/2 cup skim milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup artificial sweetener
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 1/2 cups old fashioned oats
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1 cup dried cherries
1 cup pecans, chopped

Steps:

Combine butter spread, eggs, milk, vanilla, salt, cinnamon, baking powder, sugar and sweetner together with a mixer. Slowly add oats and flour until combined. Cherries and pecans can then be added and mixed in well.
Bake in 350 degree F oven for 10 minutes on cookie sheets sprayed with cooking spray.

Ingredients

3/4 cup butter, softened
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon nutmeg
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon clove
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
2 1/2 cups oatmeal
1 cup unprocessed natural bran
2 1/2 cups raisins (optional)

Steps:

Preheat oven to 375°F.
In a small bowl, combine flour, nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves, salt, and baking soda; set aside.
In a large bowl, cream butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.
Add egg, milk, and vanilla; mix well.
Slowly add dry ingredients mixing well after each addition.
Stir in oatmeal and unprocessed bran.
Add raisins if desired.
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet.
Bake for 8-10 minutes or until done.
