Neo Eclipse. Neo Eclipse is the ultimate power that Zeref had his eye on and the whole reason why he wished to obtain Mavis's power in the first place.
Zeref in Fairy Heart Mode. After activating the power of the Fairy Heart, which he stole from Mavis, Zeref accesses a mode that he says his more power than the god of time and space himself.
Ankhseram Black Magic. Hundreds of years before we meet Natsu, Lucy and the rest of Fairy Tail guild, Zeref was cursed by an ancient god with a curse that kills any living things in a certain radius.
Living Magic. Living Magic is a powerful, ancient type of magic that allows the user to breathe life into any object, which Zeref quite a few times, to say the least.
Repent. "Repent" is another power that's a direct consequence of Zeref's Contradictory Cursed and his one of his most choreographic moves. To active it, Zeref swipes both of his arms in a circular motion and brings his hands together, right hand on top with index and middle finger pointing upwards, left hand at the bottom with little finger and index stretched downward.
Law. Yes, you read that right, that's the original Fairy Law attack. It's easy to forget where this move comes from since we've seen the good guys use it a few times but this attack is, in fact, part of the Dark Arts.
Death Orb. As promised earlier, the Death Orb makes a come back as an offensive attack this time. Zeref got this power from his Ankhseram curse, also known as the Contradictory Curse.
Bullet Magic. Here is Zeref's first offensive attack, a classic Bullet Magic. Much like attacks we've seen in Dragon Ball, for example, this type of magic allows Zeref to shoot projectiles of magic straight out of his fingers.
Teleportation. Another one of Zeref's very practical defensive moves is teleportation, a power that would make everyone's lives a lot easier. He teleports by conjuring a Death Orb (which doubles as an attack, as will be shown later) at a location of his choosing and emerging from it.
Immobilization. Let's start with a defensive move: immobilization. Zeref was seen using this technique a few times, and it has definitely come in handy.

He was Killed with Love. Even though Zeref was cursed with immortality, a part of him always wished that he could somehow still die. He even went as far as making a demon out of his little brother, hoping Natsu would be stronger than the curse itself.
He was Natsu's Brother. Initially, not much was known about Natsu's past or why he was raised by a dragon. It wasn't until Zeref shared more of his own backstory that Natsu was revealed to be his little brother.
He had a Close Relationship with Mavis. Though they seem to be enemies at opposite sides of a war, Zeref and Mavis shared many things: a past, a curse, a kiss, and a child.
He Didn't Want to be Immortal. Many villains are driven by greed and power. Often, they seek something as inhuman as immortality. But once they obtain immortality, they may realize it's not as wonderful of a life as one would assume.
He Feared Acnologia. Though Zeref was an immortal with incredibly powerful magic, he had one fear: Acnologia. Acnologia was a Dragon Slayer like Natsu, except he also had the ability to transform into a dragon.
He was a Father. Zeref created many unique demons from Deliora to Tartaros to E.N.D. But what no one knows is that Zeref also gave life to a human son named August.
Fairy Tail was Founded Because of Him. History shows that Fairy Tail was first founded by Yuri, Precht, Warrod, and the first guild master, Mavis Vermillion.
He was Cursed. Just as Zeref discovered black magic, he was also inflicted with the Curse of Contraction. This curse made Zeref immortal and could kill everything around him if he felt enough love.
He was a Genius. Revealed in a series of flashbacks, Zeref was once a normal child with a happy family. After a tragic incident took the lives of his parents and little brother, he began studying at a magic school and allocated all his time and energy into finding a way to resurrect the dead.
He was an Emperor. As someone who lived for hundreds of years, Zeref had a lot of time on his hands. He had so much time that he decided to build an entire empire, the Alvarez Empire, and become its first emperor.
