I haven't tried this yet, but am putting it here so I don't lose it! The directions say to place on an ungreased baking pan, however I think I will put on a rack in a 9x13-inch pan--that grease has to go somewhere.

1/4 cup steak sauce
2 tablespoons Shake-n-Bake, plus
1/3 cup Shake-n-Bake, divided
1 lb ground beef
4 hamburger buns, split
4 lettuce leaves

Steps:

In a bowl, combine the steak sauce and 2 tbsp of coating mix.
Crumble beef over mixture and mix until combined.
Shape into four patties.
Dip both sides of patties in remaining coating.
Place on ungreased baking sheet.
Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes or until no longer pink, turning once.

Ingredients

1 1/2 lbs ground beef
2 tablespoons warm water
1 egg
1 onion, minced
1/3 cup panko breadcrumbs
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
12 hawaiian rolls
2 kosher pickles, sliced thinly
6 slices American cheese

Steps:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Mix all ingredients except buns, pickles, and cheese.
Put mixture in an ungreased 10x13 pan and spread evenly edge to edge.
Prick with a fork several times throughout.
Bake 10-12 minutes until juices are clear then pour off the grease.
Cut immediately into square patties the size of the buns and add desired toppings.

Place on an ungreased baking sheet. , Bake at 350° until a thermometer reads 160°, about 20 minutes, turning once. Serve on buns with lettuce.
