3 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon almond extract

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • Roast almonds on 1 baking sheet in the preheated oven, stirring occasionally, until toasted, about 10 minutes.
  • Microwave white chocolate melting wafers and butter in a microwave-safe bowl on medium-high for 1 minute 30 seconds; stir. Microwave until completely melted, 20 to 30 seconds more. Add almond extract and stir until smooth. Stir in toasted almonds.
  • Spread chocolate mixture evenly onto the second baking sheet. Chill in the refrigerator until hardened, about 1 hour. Break into small pieces by hand.

1 teaspoon unsalted butter
1 cup blanched almonds

Steps:

  • Line a cookie sheet with waxed paper.
  • Put blanched almonds and butter in a 9" glass pie plate.
  • Microwave for 5 to 6 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes.
  • Melt white chocolate in the microwave, 2-3 minutes.
  • Add nuts to the white chocolate and pour out onto the prepared cookie sheet.
  • Spread the mixture with the back of a spoon.
  • Refrigerate for about 1 hour.
  • Break into pieces and store in an airtight container.

2/3 cup milk
1 tablespoon light corn syrup
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup unblanched almonds, toasted

Steps:

  • In 2 quart heavy saucepan,Combine sugar, milk, corn syrup, and salt.
  • Cook,stirring constantly until sugar dissolves& mixture comes to a boil.
  • Cook without stirring to soft ball stage (234).
  • Remove from heat& add butter, do not stir.
  • Let cool til lukewarm,& add vanilla.
  • Beat until mixture thickens& spread is creamy.
  • Add the toasted almonds.
  • Spread about 1/2 inch thick on wax paper lined baking sheet.
  • Let cool before break into pieces.

1 cup misc cereal
1 cup peanuts
2 cups pretzel sticks
1/2 cup M&M's plain chocolate candy (add last)
1/2 cup chopped pecans

Steps:

  • Melt almond bark in microwave according to package.
  • In large bowl, combine everything except the almond bark and M&M's.
  • Mix well.
  • Pour warm almond bark over mixture and gently mix.
  • Add M&M's and mix again.
  • Pour onto waxpaper and let harden.

1 cup Rice Chex
1 cup Golden Grahams cereal
1 cup pretzel stick, break into smaller pieces as you add it
2 -4 ounces pecan halves
1 tablespoon powdered sugar

Steps:

  • melt almond bark over LOW heat in a double boiler stirring frequently.
  • I suggest mixing a handful of all ingredients EXCEPT powdered sugar to see if you like more pretzels or more chex or whatever.
  • I just fold in the cereals, pretzels, & pecans into melted bark until well coated. I didn't measure any of it, I just kept adding more until all pieces were covered well with bark, but there wasn't a ton of extra bark at the bottom of the pan.
  • Spoon mixture onto waxed paper or foil in large bite-size clumps. (I use wax paper on a cookie sheet for easier transfer to the fridge.) Move into the fridge for fast cooling if you like. When bark has set, put all the pieces in a large tupperware type container or large ziploc bag. Sprinkle the powdered sugar all over, then shake the container to spread it around well.
  • Enjoy!

  • Ingredients 1 Cup any flavor Chex cereal 1 Cup pretzel sticks 1 Cup almonds Or 1/2 cup each dried cranberries and pineapple 1/2 cup mixed nuts 1 Cup white chocolate chips 1 Quart canning jar 1 food storage bag, small
  • Instructions Layer cereal, pretzel , nuts, (cranberries and dried pineapple or almonds) in a quart-sized canning jar. Place white chocolate chips inside food storage bag, and place on top of layered ingredients. Seal jar, and attach a gift tag with recipe instructions. Makes 3 1/2 cups snack mix.

1 cup blanched almond, whole
1 teaspoon butter
1 lb white chocolate

Steps:

  • Place almonds and butter in a 9-inch glass pie plate. Microwave on high (maximum power) 4 to 5 1/2 minutes, or until almonds are toasted, stirring twice during cooking. Set aside.
  • Place chocolate in large microwave proof mixing bowl and microwave on high (maximum power) 2 1/2 to 3 minutes, or until softened. Stir in almonds and pour onto waxed paper lined baking sheet. Spread to desired thickness and refrigerate until set.
  • Break into serving size peices.
