- Sasori – The Puppet Master. Sasori, also known as the Sasori of the Red Sand, was the most feared Shinobi from Sunagakure in the Hidden Sand village and the grandson of Chiyo, one of the elders.
- Hidan – The Living Voodoo Doll. Hidan was not a powerful ninja, unlike the other members of Akatsuki, but his immortality helped him keep up the fight.
- Kakuzu – The One With Many Hearts. Like his partner Hidan, Kakuzu was also gifted with immortality (if stealing other ninja hearts counts) that made him an influential character in Naruto.
- Itachi Uchiha – The Greatest Uchiha. If it weren’t for Itachi Uchiha, the Akatsuki wouldn’t be anywhere near their goals. Itachi Uchiha was a shinobi skilled in ninjutsu and genjutsu at a very young age.
- Deidara – The Clay Artist. Deidara was an S-rank missing-nin from the village hidden in the Stones and the youngest member of the Akatsuki. For some reason, Deidara’s sassy attitude and flashy personality instantly caught my attention, and he became my favorite Akatsuki member.
- Pain – The One Who Started It All. Nagato, also known as Pain, was one of the founding members of the Akatsuki and mostly led the group throughout the series.
- Konan – The Fearless Akatsuki. After training with Nagato and Yahiko, Konan also became a founding member of the second generation Akatsuki, while also being the only female in the group.
- Kisame – The Shark-Like Akatsuki. Kisame Hoshigaki was a skilled Ninja in the water-based jutsu, giving him an upper hand in most of the battles. Kisame was one of the most powerful and the most capable Akatsuki members and a former member of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist.
- Tobi – The Forgotten Uchiha. Who knew that Tobi the nitwit would turn out to be one of the greatest Uchiha members of all time? Obito Uchiha was the founder of the second generation Akatsuki who helped fulfill Madara’s dream of turning the Earth into a dream world.
- Zetsu – The Ying And The Yang. Zetsu was perhaps one of the most interesting Akatsuki members as it turns out that he was the physical manifestation of the evil Kaguya Otsutsuki’s will.
