1 Tbsp Hoisin Sauce
1 Tbsp lime juice
1 Tbsp honey
¼ tsp Asian sesame oil (dark)
¼ tsp ground ginger
Lettuce
Thinly sliced cucumber
Cherry tomatoes
Radishes (thinly sliced)

Steps:

  • Combine dressing ingredients in a small bowl and whisk together until well combined.
  • Chop the veggies. Place veggies in a serving bowl and drizzle with dressing.

1 1/4 lbs raw lean flank steak
4 medium garlic cloves, chopped
2 tablespoons gingerroot, chopped
1/4 cup vinegar
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 tablespoon sesame oil
2 bunches watercress, cleaned and trimmed
2 medium scallions, sliced
1 medium carrot, grated

Steps:

  • Put flank steak into a shallow glass or ceramic dish.
  • To make marinade, combine garlic through to sesame oil in a blender and blend until smooth.
  • Pour half the marinade over flank steak, turn over to coat both sides, cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes and up to 24 hours. Refrigerate remaining marinade as well.
  • Prepare coals for grill.
  • Grill flank steak for 5 to 7 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Set on a cutting board to rest while you finish salad.
  • Put remaining marinade into a small saucepan and add 3 tablespoons water. Bring to a simmer over very low heat and cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
  • In a large bowl, toss watercress, scallions and carrot with warm marinade.
  • Slice flank steak into thin strips. Pour any juice from meat over salad and toss it inches Serve flank slices alongside salad.

I've had this WW recipe for 20 years or more. It tastes good., and you may add 4 ounces of protein to make it a meal.

1 cup coarsely chopped cabbage
1 medium tomatoes, cut into 8 wedges
1/2 medium cucumber, peeled and thinly sliced
2 tablespoons cider vinegar
2 teaspoons vegetable oil
1 dash each salt, pepper, and garlic powder
1 dash artificial sweetener
chopped parsley (to garnish) (optional)

Steps:

  • In a medium salad bowl, combine all of the ingredients except the parsley, mixing thoroughly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight. Just before serving, sprinkle with parsley.
  • Cooking time is chilling time.

1 (5 1/8 ounce) package fat-free sugar-free instant vanilla pudding mix

Steps:

  • Do not drain fruit.
  • Use pudding mix dry, do not add milk.
  • Combine all ingredients and blend well.
  • Chill about 1 hour.

  • Preheat grill or broiler. Grill or broil steak for 8 minutes on each side for medium or longer until desired doneness. Remove and slice steak into thin strips. Meanwhile, pour reserved marinade into a small saucepan. Bring to a boil; cook 1 minute more, stirring occasionally.
  • To serve, place 2 cups greens on each of 4 plates. Top each with about 3 ounces of steak, 1/4 cup of oranges and 1 heaping tablespoon of noodles; drizzle each with about 1 1/2 tablespoons of cooked and cooled marinade.
