- Put on the stove on simmer.

- add the navel orange slices.

- you may not like it like this, you might have to add 1 or 2 more cinnamon sticks or more cloves.
- Yummy on the wood stove also.
- Take off Heat after approximately 10 minutes.

- Gather the ingredients.
- Heat, but do not allow to boil, all of the ingredients in a saucepan or chafing dish.
- Stir well until all of the sugar is dissolved.
- Pour the heated mix into a heat-proof punch bowl and add seasonal fruits like orange slices and cranberries.

This is a warm punch I make in the slow cooker every Christmas. I put it on during the day, and everyone just helps themselves. I like to serve it with a bottle of Fireball® cinnamon whiskey on the side. You can also serve with Captain Morgan® spiced rum. It tastes wonderful and it makes the house smell great!
