Mar 7, 2007 people didnt buy a sedan and sent it out to the conversion place, my station wagon has the original title FROM the cadillac dealership where the guy paid over 9,000 (in 1969!!!) and the title says station wagon. so I believe that they, for the most part, were sold at the dealer, brand new, as a station wagon. Jan 20, 2009 When looking at a used wagon, pull the trim and see if the spare tire well has water in it. It's also common to see rust on the pillars, especially the rears. Keep the car waxed. '77 Mercury Grand Marquis Colony Park, overall length: 227.1" '77 Chrysler Town & Country, overall length: 227.7" '76 Buick Estate Wagon, overall length: 231.8" I was surprised the Buick was longer.
