Air Fryer Sirloin Steak such an easy recipe for a perfectly tender, juicy, and cooked steak.

2 sirloin steaks, about 5 ounces each
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 to 3 teaspoon of your favorite steak seasoning

Steps:

  • Take your meat out of the refrigerator for about 20 to 30 minutes, so it gets to be room temperature.
  • Then add some olive oil to the steak, season with salt, pepper, and favorite steak seasoning.
  • Preheat the air fryer for 5 minutes at 400 degrees F, air fryer setting.
  • After the preheating, add your steak to the air fryer basket.
  • Air fry for 5 minutes, then flip and air fry for another 4-7 minutes, depending on how you like your steak, medium rare will obviously take shorter to air fry then well done. Always use a meat thermometer to get the steak the way you want it.
  • Wait about 5 minutes before serving, as it allows for the juices to settle in the middle.
  • Plate, serve, and enjoy!

These perfectly cooked Air Fryer Sirloin Steaks are first rubbed with a flavorful seasoning blend, then cooked to perfection in the air fryer in just minutes, leading to a delicious, filling meal with very little cleanup.

2 sirloin steaks (approximately 8 oz each, at least 1" thick)
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Steps:

  • Mix the seasonings together in a bowl. Season the steak on both sides.
  • Place the steaks in the air fryer basket, trying not to overlap them.
  • Cook on 400° F for 8 minutes (for medium), flipping it once about 2/3 of the way through cooking. To achieve your desired degree of doneness, check the internal temperature of the meat throughout cooking. For rare, remove at 125˚F to 130˚F. For medium-rare, remove at 135˚F. For medium, remove at 140˚F.
  • When the appropriate internal temperature has been reached, transfer the steaks to a plate, tent with tin foil, and rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Yes, you can even cook steak in an air fryer! We found that thicker cuts, like sirloin, are best -- they turn nice and browned on the outside without overcooking. Plus, there's very little clean up. We added a homemade garlic-herb butter to melt over the steak for a quick and flavorful weeknight dinner.

One 1-pound sirloin steak, about 1 inch thick
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, at room temperature
1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh parsley
1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh chives
1 small clove garlic, finely grated
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

Steps:

  • Allow the steak to sit at room temperature for 30 minutes before cooking.
  • Preheat a 3.5-quart air fryer to 400 degrees F. Season the steak on both sides with a generous pinch of salt and several grinds of black pepper. Place the steak in the center of the air fryer basket and cook until desired doneness, about 10 minutes for medium-rare, 12 minutes for medium and 14 minutes for medium-well. Transfer the steak to a cutting board and allow to rest, about 10 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, mash together the butter, parsley, chives, garlic and crushed red pepper in a small bowl until combined. Slice the steak against the grain into 1/4-inch-thick pieces. Top with the garlic-herb butter.

2 thick cut sirloin steaks
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon ground peppercorn
½ teaspoon salt
Dried parsley for garnish (optional)

Steps:

  • Allow the steaks to rest at room temperature for 20 minutes before cooking.
  • When ready to cook, season both sides of the steak with garlic powder, ground peppercorn, and salt.
  • Place the steaks in the basket of the air fryer. Set the air fryer to cook at 400°.
  • For medium rare steaks, cook for 10 minutes. For medium steaks, cook for 12 minutes. For medium well steaks, cook for 14 minutes. Flip the steaks halfway through the cook time.
  • When the cook time is up, allow the steaks to rest for five minutes before serving.
  • Garnish with dried parsley before serving, if desired.
