Cool and refreshing. Vodka, soda, lime. That's it. Perfect for a bar stop and also for cocktail hour at home.

Ice
1/4 cup vodka
1/2 cup soda
Lime juice (optional)
Lime wedge, for garnish

Steps:

  • Fill a glass with ice. Add vodka and top with soda; stir. If you like, add fresh lime juice. Garnish with a lime wedge.

MOSCOW MULE

Mix vodka with ginger beer and crushed ice and you have yourself a Moscow mule cocktail. Serve in a metal mug and garnish with mint leaves and lime

50ml vodka
crushed ice
150-200ml ginger beer
few dashes of ginger bitters
sprig of mint
wedge of lime

Steps:

  • Pour the vodka into a metal mug, julep tin or tumbler. Load up ¾ full with crushed ice, then fill to the top with the ginger beer and stir gently to combine. Add a few dashes of ginger bitters. Serve with a sprig of mint to garnish and the lime to squeeze over.

Number Of Ingredients 8

2 cups white sugar
7 cups water
2 tablespoons instant tea powder
1 (12 fluid ounce) can frozen orange juice concentrate
1 (12 fluid ounce) can frozen lemonade concentrate
2 cups cold water
2 cups vodka
1 liter lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage

Steps:

  • In a 6 quart pot combine sugar and 7 cups water. Bring to boil and stir until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat. Stir in tea powder while hot. Add orange juice concentrate, lemonade concentrate and 2 cups cold water. Chill in refrigerator.
  • When cold mix in vodka. Pour into a plastic container leaving room on top for expansion. Freeze or 24 hours.
  • To serve, scoop about 1 cup into a tall glass and quickly stir in 1/3 cup lemon-lime soda.

1 (32 ounce) can pineapple juice
1 (32 ounce) bottle carbonated lemon-lime beverage

  • Combine sherbet and juice in blender or processor in batches and mix well. Cover and freeze until firm, 1 hour or overnight.
