ROSEMARY FIZZ COCKTAIL
This rosemary cocktail combines fragrant, herbal flavor with lemon and lots of bubbles! It's an ideal way to use this fresh herb.

Steps:
- Fill a highball glass with ice.
- Pour in the vodka, rosemary syrup, and lemon juice and stir several times.
- Pour in the soda water. Garnish with a rosemary sprig and lemon wheel.

Steps:
- 1. Place all syrup ingredients into a saucepan and boil 30 minutes.
- 2. Strain and allow to cool completely before use. Store in covered container in refrigerator.
- 3. To make cocktail: Place 1 ounce syrup with vodka (or gin) and lemon slices over ice in shaker. Shake well.
- 4. Strain into a rocks glass and add a splash of soda. Garnish with rosemary sprig.

Steps:
- In a saucepan, combine the sugar and 1/3 cup water and place over medium heat. Bring the mixture to a boil, then cook the sugar until dissolved but the syrup is still clear. Do not cook the sugar until it starts to turn color. Remove from heat and cool.
- In a pitcher, combine the syrup, 8 cups water, the lemon juice, vodka and ice and stir to combine. Pour into tall glasses and enjoy!
ROSEMARY LEMON FIZZ
A refreshing summertime cocktail. Time does not include cooling time for syrup. I changed the amount of rosemary originally posted from 1/2 cup to 4 sprigs, which when chopped coarsely, equals about 1/2 cup, but I think others were chopping it too fine to fill the 1/2 cup, and that is why it was too strong. :)
