2 slices white bread
1 tablespoon butter
1 thick slice colby cheese
1/2 tablespoon whipped cream cheese spread
2 slices deli turkey
1 teaspoon cajun seasoning
1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Steps:

  • Mix cajun seasoning, pepper and cream cheese and spread on one slice of bread. add turkey and cheese and cover with other slice of bread.
  • spread butter on either side of bread and brown in a skillet about three minutes on each side or until golden.

My little sister is just at the age where she is experimenting in the kitchen. She came up with this easy recipe for yummy cheese fries that even kids can help cook

16 ounces frozen french fries
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons flour
1 1/4 cups milk
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup ketchup

Steps:

  • cook fries accoding to package directions.
  • melt butter in a saucepan and then whisk in flour to form a roux.
  • whisk milk into pot.
  • then stir in cheese and stir until thick and well mixed.
  • Add in ketchup and serve cheese over fries.
