Vanilla Pudding Shots Food

VANILLA PUDDING

Steps:

• Heat 4 cups of the milk in a large saucepan over medium heat until steaming.
• Whisk the sugar, cornstarch and 1/2 teaspoon salt in a large bowl. Whisk in the egg yolks and the remaining 1/2 cup milk.
• Whisk half of the hot milk into the egg mixture until smooth, then gradually whisk the egg-milk mixture into the saucepan. Cook over medium heat, whisking constantly, until the mixture boils. Continue to cook, whisking constantly, until it has thickened to a puddinglike consistency, 3 to 4 minutes. Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla.
• Cool slightly, stirring a few times to prevent a skin from forming. Place a piece of plastic wrap directly on top of the pudding and refrigerate until completely cooled and thickened, about 4 hours.
• Before serving, whisk the pudding vigorously until smooth and creamy.
• Stir-ins:
• Cookies and Cream: Crush 20 chocolate wafer cookies, stir some into the pudding and top with the rest.
• Fresh Berries and Gingersnaps: Fold in 2 cups of fresh, mixed berries and top with about 12 finely crushed gingersnaps.
• Vanilla-Banana: Fold in 3 sliced bananas. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour. Fold in 24 crushed vanilla wafer cookies and top with more sliced bananas.
• Rocky Road: Fold in 1 cup each mini marshmallows and toasted chopped walnuts and 1/2 cup of mini chocolate chips. Sprinkle with more chocolate chips.
• Peanut Butter* and Jelly (See Cook's Note): Fold in 1 cup quartered red grapes and 1/3 cup each chopped roasted peanuts and peanut butter chips. Top with whole grapes.

PUDDING SHOTS - ALCOHOLIC

Steps:

• Mix pudding and milk until well blended.
• Add vodka and Irish cream, mix well.
• Fold in Cool Whip.
• Divide into individual servings.
• Keep in freezer.

VANILLA PUDDING SHOTS RECIPE

Steps:

• Place 12 pudding shot cups (2.5oz soufflé cups) on a large baking sheet.
• Pour the contents of one small box of instant vanilla pudding mix into a medium mixing bowl.
• Whisk in cold whole milk; mix well. (Use an electric mixer if you like).
• Add in whipped cream vodka and vanilla vodka by hand. Mix well until the mixture thickens.
• Fold in thawed whipped topping and stir until the pudding mixture is light and fluffy and you no longer see any white streaks from the whipped topping.
• Spoon the pudding mixture into the prepared soufflé cups, filling up to the top of each rim.
• Chill for at least 4 hours (overnight works best!)
• After 4 hours, if you are not servings immediately, you can place lids on the plastic cups and chill overnight.
• Top with whipped cream before serving if desired.

TROPICAL VANILLA PUDDING SHOTS

Steps:

• Combine milk and pudding mix in a bowl and whisk or mix until smooth.
• Add rum, lime juice, and pineapple, and stir well.
• Fold in whipped topping. Once the mixture is smooth and uniform, divide it among 8 small cups.
• Place the cups in the refrigerator until ready to serve, at least 30 minutes.
• Garnish them with pineapple wedges and lime slices, if using. Enjoy with a spoon!

PUDDING SHOTS

Steps:

• Whisk together the milk, Irish cream liqueur, vodka, and instant pudding mix in a bowl until combined. Continue whisking for 2 minutes.
• Spoon the pudding mixture into shot glasses or disposable 'party shot' cups. Chill until set, about 30 minutes. The shots will have the consistency of mousse.

PUDDING SHOTS RECIPE - (4.4/5)

Steps:

• Mix the pudding mix with the milk with an electric mixer. Then add the booze and mix. Then add the cool whip and mix. Put into small cups and freeze. Serve with little spoons. Makes 24 2oz. servings. Variations: White Chocolate instant pudding mix with Kahlua instead of Bailey's. (Use slightly less than 1/2 Cup or it will taste too boozy.) Turtle instant pudding mix (they only carry this flavor around X-mas, so stock up when you see it!) with Caramel Bailey's. Chocolate instant pudding mix with Mint Bailey's or peppermint schnapps. French Vanilla instant pudding mix with 1/3 C Amaretto instead of the Bailey's. I haven't tried this one yet, but imagine that Banana instant pudding mix and Brandy or Rum would be divine. If someone tries this combo, let me know how it turns out!

BANANA PUDDING SHOTS

Steps:

• In 2-quart saucepan, stir pudding mix and half-and-half. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened. Stir in vanilla. Remove from heat; pour into medium bowl. Cover; refrigerate about 1 hour or until chilled.
• Spoon pudding into 1-gallon resealable food-storage plastic bag; seal bag. Spoon whipped topping into 1-quart resealable food-storage plastic bag; seal bag. Cut 1/8-inch opening diagonally across bottom corner of each bag.
• In bottom of each of 24 (2-oz) shot glasses, place 1 cookie. In each glass, pipe about 2 teaspoons pudding over cookie. Top with 1 banana slice. Pipe about 2 teaspoons whipped topping over banana. Repeat layers. Sprinkle with crushed cookies. Serve immediately or refrigerate up to 30 minutes.

WHITE RUSSIAN PUDDING SHOT

Steps:

• Beat milk and pudding mix together in a bowl using an electric mixer until pudding is thickened. Stir vodka and coffee-flavored liqueur into pudding; fold in whipped topping. Pipe or spoon pudding mixture into shot glasses. Freeze until ready to serve.

IRISH CREAM PUDDING SHOTS RECIPE - (4/5)

Steps:

• Whisk together the milk, liquor, and instant pudding in a bowl until combined. Add cool whip a little at a time with whisk. Spoon the pudding mixture into shot glasses, disposable party shot cups or 1 or 2 ounce cups with lids. Place in freezer for at least 2 hours.

PUDDING SHOTS ALCOHOLIC

Steps:

• Mix together milk and pudding with an electric mixer until no lumps exist.
• Beat in liquor.
• Gently fold in cool whip.
• Spoon into 2 ounce cups, cover with lids and freeze.
• Some pudding and liquor combos I like to use are chocolate pudding and mint schnapps, banana pudding and coconut rum, coconut cream pudding and banana schnapps, cheesecake pudding and raspberry schnapps, pumpkin spice pudding and spiced rum and my ultimate favorite strawberry pudding and banana schnapps.
