VANILLA MATCHA SMOOTHIE



Vanilla Matcha Smoothie image

This lightly sweet matcha smoothie is made with banana, vanilla, and almond milk. It's a healthy, antioxidant-filled breakfast or great afternoon pick-me-up.

Number Of Ingredients 6

2 bananas, frozen
1 cup original Almond Breeze Almond Milk
Matcha powder - a few teaspoons to a few tablespoons depending on your matcha and your taste. I used a few tablespoons of this kind.
Vanilla bean - a tiny scrape from about 1-inch of the pod
A few handfuls of ice
Honey, agave, or sweetener of choice (optional)

Steps:

  • Blend everything together. Taste & adjust to your liking. Add some sweetener if you wish.

Here's what you need: coffee, half & half, chocolate chips, sugar, coffee beans, whipped cream

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 ½ cups coffee, brewed, cooled
½ cup half & half
⅓ cup chocolate chips, plus more, crushed for topping
2 tablespoons sugar
6 coffee beans
whipped cream, for topping

Steps:

  • Pour the coffee into an ice cube tray. Freeze for at least 4 hours, or overnight.
  • Add the coffee ice cubes, half and half, chocolate chips, sugar, and coffee beans to a blender. Blend until smooth.
  • Pour into glasses and top with whipped cream and crushed chocolate chips.
  • Enjoy!

½ tsp matcha powder
seeds from half a vanilla pod

Steps:

  • Boil the kettle then pour 100ml of the water into a measuring jug. Pour half the hot water into a small bowl, to warm it, then add the matcha powder and vanilla seeds to the rest of the water in the jug.
  • Whisk the mixture with a bamboo match whisk or mini electric whisk until it's smooth, lump-free and slightly bubbly. Discard the water in the warmed tea bowl, then pour in the prepared matcha tea.
