Number Of Ingredients 4

4 packages of jello (I used a mix of strawberry, raspberry, and black cherry (3 ounces each))
1 package (12 ounces whipped topping)
Whipped Cream (optional)
Berries and Sprinkles (optional)

Steps:

  • Make one package of jello according to the instructions on the box (most likely, you'll combine the jello powder with 1 cup of boiling water and 1 cup of cold water).
  • Divide the jello between the cups and place it in the refrigerator to set-- this should take about an hour.
  • Next, make another package of jello according to the instructions on the box. However, this time you'll whisk in 6 ounces of the whipped topping before pouring it over the first layer (make sure the first layer is fully set before you pour another layer on top). Place the jello cups back in the refrigerator to chill for another hour, or until set.
  • Repeat the layering and chilling set for the last two layers. The third layer will be a plain jello layer.
  • The fourth layer will be a creamy layer (jello plus the remaining 8 ounces of cool whip).
  • Make sure that each of the layers has firmed completely before moving on to the next.
  • Lastly, top with whipped cream, sprinkles, or berries, if desired. Serve chilled.

  • Start by combining the raspberry jello with 2 C of boiling water, and stir until dissolved. Remove 1 C of the mixture and set aside in a separate bowl.
  • Combine remaining mixture with ⅔ C room temperature yogurt and whisk until smooth. Pour into a 9x13" pan and place in fridge to chill until set, about 30 minutes.
  • Take reserved gelatin and warm slightly if it's become thick. Stir in ⅔ C water and pour over first layer. Place in fridge to chill until set, about 30 minutes.
  • Repeat this process for the remaining box of jello. Before pouring final layer, place heart-shaped strawberry slices on the 3rd layer in desired pattern. To keep strawberries in place, brush the backside of each slice with a bit of the final layer of gelatin before placing.

  • For each layer, boil 1 cup water (I do this in the microwave) and then add the contents of one flavor of jello. Stir with a fork until the jello is totally dissolved and then divide the mixture in half, saving half in a separate bowl.
  • Add 1/2 cup yogurt to half of the jello mixture and stir until well combined. Pour the yogurt/Jello mixture into your dishes* and then place in the refrigerator in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes or until completely set.
  • Add 3 Tbsp water to the other half of the jello that you reserved. Set aside. As soon as the yogurt layer is set, you can pour the reserved layer on top. Refrigerate again until set.
  • Repeat steps 1-3 with the other flavors of jello. If you use a deeper dish, you can repeat the layers as many times as you want - you'll just need more jello!
