CHEDDAR AND GRUYERE GRILLED CHEESE SANDWICH RECIPE | TASTING TABL

Steps:
- In a food processor, combine the cheddar and Gruyère and pulse until a smooth paste forms. Transfer to a mixing bowl and fold in the chives and black pepper.
- Place bread on a clean work surface. Spread a thin layer of the mayonnaise on one side of each piece of bread. Flip 2 of the slices so that the mayonnaise side faces down and use a rubber spatula or a butter knife to evenly spread the cheese over the 2 slices. Close the sandwiches with remaining 2 slices of bread, leaving the mayonnaise side facing up.
- Place a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add sandwiches and cook, flipping sandwiches occasionally until golden brown and crispy on both sides, about 6 to 8 minutes. Transfer sandwiches to a cutting board and allow to rest for a minute before slicing in half. Serve.

- Assemble the sandwich by placing Cheddar and mozzarella cheese on the bread. Season with oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Heat butter in a pan over medium-low heat. Add sandwich and cook until cheeses melt, 3 to 5 minutes, increasing heat if needed. Flip and cook until golden brown, 3 to 5 minutes more.
- Cut in half and top with parsley and chives.

- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and mayonnaise until smooth. Stir in the cheeses, garlic powder and seasoned salt. Spread 5 slices of bread with the cheese mixture, about 1/3 cup on each. Top with remaining bread. , Butter the outsides of sandwiches. In a skillet over medium heat, toast sandwiches for 4-5 minutes on each side or until bread is lightly browned and cheese is melted.

- In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and mayonnaise until smooth.
- Stir in cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, garlic powder and Season-All.
- Butter one side of all pieces of bread.
- Place half of the buttered breads butter-side down into frying pan.
- Top with 1/3 cup of the cheese mixture.
- Top with the remaining bread, butter side up.
- Cook on medium heat until golden brown on both sides.
ULTIMATE GRILLED CHEESE
Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Arrange the bacon on a baking rack set over a sheet pan in a single layer and roast for 20 to 30 minutes, until nicely browned. Drain on a plate lined with paper towels and cut in 1-inch pieces.
- Meanwhile, combine the mayonnaise, mustard, Parmesan, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Lay 12 slices of bread on a board and spread each one lightly with butter. Flip the slices and spread each one generously with the mayonnaise mixture. Don't neglect the corners!
- Grate the cheeses in a food processor fitted with the largest grating disk and combine. Distribute the bacon evenly on half the slices of bread. Pile 1/3 cup grated cheese evenly on top of the bacon and top with the remaining bread slices, sauce side down.
- Meanwhile, heat an electric panini press. When the press is hot, cook the sandwiches for 3 to 5 minutes in batches until the bread is toasted and the cheese is melted. Allow to cool for 2 minutes. Cut in half and serve warm.
